I just read that ex governor cuomo will be arrested next week for groping a woman. Ok, so here we go with another he said she said thing about a touching incodent.
What the hell can they use for evidence? Did the woman save the shirt and pants for finger prints?
1 persons word against another. Guilty or not ,how can he get a fair trail when courts ALWAYS listen to the woman and not the male?
I don't mind seeing him held accountable for any negitive actions he took, don't get me wrong.I just think he should be arrested and charged with crimes regarding the nursing home deaths and etc.Something with real evidence that could put him away instead of just wasting tax dollars.

"courts ALWAYS listen to the woman and not the male"

Once again, you are talking out of your ass. Check the actual statistics on this.

Here are just a few:
Only 310 out of 1000 cases of sexual ass@ult are ever reported.

Only 50 in 1000 of those lead to arrst.

Only 28 in 1000 of those lead to conviction.

And, while some cases reported are false, the percentage of false claims is only between 2% and 10%

That doesn't sound at all like the courts ALWAYS listen to the woman, now does it?

Google Event 201, this is the opening paragraph.

"The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences."

Gee, and 5 months later the world was in full lock down.

I say I'm "old school" about many things ie I like to send greeting cards for birthdays, Christmas cards and also "thank you" notes. I don't think that the pre-written message is enough and in most instances I will write something personal, especially in a thank you card, and sign my name. I want a receit for my purchases and 99% of the time will review them for accuracy.

What I am not "old school" about is writing checks to pay a bill, putting the check in an envelope then placing a stamp on it and depending on our United States Postal Service to deliver it. Yep, I pay my bills online or over the phone.

How do you pay your bills, are you "old school" or online?
By phart [Ignore] 27,Oct,21 10:21 other posts
I pay my bills by telephone.Would PREFER to pay in person, but the damn verizon charges a fee to take cash at the store for payment.Which Is silly.

I believe they have been doing that for a long, long time. My carrier was Sprint, they pissed me off and I moved to T Mobile who I thought bought out Sprint. Bottom line, I allow them to charge my credit card monthly which is another form of bill payment. Also, I've authorized my bank to allow debit payments for utility usage on a monthly basis.

Auto-pay for the big/major stuff... I have not written a check in years.

Do you guys still have cheque's?
By bella! [Ignore] 27,Oct,21 22:18 other posts
Yes, we still have checks and use checks, don't you?
By Dev01 [Ignore] 27,Oct,21 22:36 other posts
No, Have not seen a cheque book for at least 20 years. You can get bank cheques drawn for big ticket items like a new car or a house deposit. But even then the now preferred method is a Electronic Funds Transfer.

Even cash is an option not many choose. Especially since the Covid epidemic, basically everything was tap and go.
By bella! [Ignore] 27,Oct,21 23:08 other posts
I want to say that our certified check is most likely what you refer to as a bank checque. I believe that our certified check costs the purchaser several dollars UNLESS you have "x" amount of dollars on deposit with the bank. It has been years since I required a certified check however at that time you had to go to the bank to make this purchase in person and present identification.

Heck, say for instance you gave me a check and you banked with Fifth Third Bank and I bank with Bank of America and I deposit your check in my account and your account does not have enough funds to cover the check, the check is NSF (non sufficient funds). My account gets charged a fee for that, again unless I have "x" amount of dollars on deposit. Another oddity is if you bank with Fifth Third and write me a check and I want the funds today and go to Fifth Third Bank to cash said check, it's going to cost me upwards of $10.00 because I do not have an account with Fifth Third Bank.

Dev01, is it possible you haven't seen a check book in 20 years because the head of your household has it?
By Dev01 [Ignore] 27,Oct,21 23:43 other posts
Good Point. No it has been forever. So we have a joint account, My wages go into that, Vettie pays all bills with that. I do get an allowance weekly.

I do it this way because I like buying toys and I have enough bikes and cars. I also collect watches and sneakers. 🙃

I did have a pic up years ago of part of my sneaker collection to piss John s off over some discrepancy over a pic posted by a member with sneakers on 😃. Well have added more but am banned from ebay...Well not banned, just having a little hiatus. Have to save now for our youngest daughters Hecs Debt
By bella! [Ignore] 27,Oct,21 23:48 other posts
Exactly! You haven't seen the check book because your missus is in charge!

The cost of going to university. You pay a percentage of the course fee and the rest is deducted once you have completed diploma and working full time.

We just pay it, Have done with the other 3 too. Just gives them a good chance to get ahead quickly. We don't look at it a spoiling them just helping.

That's beautiful that you are in a position to help them with their education. There's a good deal of posts in the forum regarding higher education and our country not having a program to provide our young people such. In Australia, is the cost of a university education subsidized or provided by your government or is it the cost absorbed by the individual?
By Dev01 [Ignore] 28,Oct,21 00:28 other posts
The Hecs Debt scheme is run buy the Government. At the end of the day it is absorbed by the individual come tax time. It just a way for people to get credentials and paying it off once employed. Nil interest but some uni degrees cost alot and years to pay off.
By bella! [Ignore] 28,Oct,21 00:37 other posts
Thank you for the explanation.

I aint used a check since I had 1 bounce over a PENNY. Cost me 40 bucks and alot of trouble 20 years ago..
Of course now I have over draft protection on my account but then I didn't.
I have not used a money order in over 3 years as I had 1 get stolen ,which made a credit card payment late, which cost me money that was later refunded because I sent them a copy of the claims I had to file with the sorry ass postal service to get my 350 bucks back .

Basically, I use checks to pay my quarterly water bills and my summer and winter property taxes, anything that is paid to the city.

CAT Saggy Granny- one day, the funds will be empty on yer welfare card!

And that major financial move (selling that POS car) is sure helping out! I am sure you have an elite level account with JP Morgan!

Well, at least with Sears!
By #610414 28,Oct,21 12:50
At least I don’t have to live in my mother’s basement, cold water flat, boludo
By #644010 28,Oct,21 15:35
Skittles you give her too much credit. Sears and JP Morgan are much too fancy for her ilk. She shops at Family Dollar, and Big lot’s and uses things like layaway.

I haven't used a postage stamp in well over almost 12 years. And that was only until the last holdout of The Secretary Of State started online billing for vehicle registrations.

So you don't send Christmas cards, birthday cards or thank you notes?
By #648364 28,Oct,21 03:29
I have no friends and I call my parents. I use the text and email thing. I figure that I can try and save some trees.
By bella! [Ignore] 28,Oct,21 06:52 other posts
No friends? Stop! Like I said, I am old school, Christmas cards, birthday cards and thank you notes. There's probably other instances but those were the 3 occasions that I "for sure" send something which requires a stamp.
By #648364 28,Oct,21 14:21
Nope...Friends are the first ones to fuck you over. The ones that you are always there for and, they are the same ones that are never there for you. I prefer to be a lone wolf and only maintain a few acquaintances while keeping boundaries. No drama, I was sick of all the fake ass fucktards by the time I hit 20.
By #610414 28,Oct,21 15:49
Friends and lovers
It’s better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all.
By #648364 28,Oct,21 16:27
I disagree. It gives me time to enjoy my life, my way. I love reading and the outdoors. If I start a 16 book series and don't want to be bothered for two weeks straight immediately beginning a reread immediately after finishing the book. Books are my love. If I'm not reading I'm listening to an audio book. Sometimes I break from audio books and listen to music. Classical music, wine, and a romance series is better than a weekend romp in the sheets. A 8 second oooo is no comparison to hours or days of an intense nonstop emotional roller-coaster ride.
By #610414 28,Oct,21 18:33
If you say so
By #648364 28,Oct,21 19:01
I spent over half my life being used as a door mat. If I ever feel the need to be loved I will go out and buy a dog. The only loyalty I have ever experienced in my life was in the military and from dogs. Sex I can get anywhere and is of barely any interest to me. I graduated to the hard-core side of sex years ago completely eradicating the preloaded social norm program. Vanilla sex doesn't get Skippy's attention nor does porn, nor nudity. Therefore, I'm not normal I seek other forms of pleasure. I find immense pleasure in pain, sensory deprivation or overload, restraint...mixed with a multitude of fetishes. I'm happier now than I have ever been. Loneliness is only a negative to those that require people in their lives for support.

I promise if you want to come by and cut my 3 acres of grass I won't shoot you.
This poor fellow was a bit extreme and got his self shot and killed over tall grass. Must have had a life insurance policy so he got his self shot instead of killing himself which would void the life insurance. I know home owner associations can be asshole's but now they have a real eyesore,a burnt house

The Austin Police Department were executing a search warrant for the search of the home all because the resident's grass was too long? What is this world coming to? Maybe they would find he had dishes piled up in the sink and fine him for that.

When I think of a coney dog, I think of a natural casing hot dog that is covered in chili and topped with chopped onions and yellow mustard. BAM! DELICIOUS!

Watching these YouTube videos, I get the impression that a coney dog served in Michigan might not be what is served elsewhere. Also, I've heard that the chili has been referred to as "Michigan sauce", what!? Where you live, do they offer coney dogs and if they're not what I've described, what are they?
By phart [Ignore] 27,Oct,21 12:36 other posts
natural casing,equals chitterlings. Intestion.
By bella! [Ignore] 27,Oct,21 14:17 other posts
Natural casing to me means quality! I prefer a hot dog in a natural casing but then that hot dog has to be grilled not boiled so that there is the SNAP when you bite into it!

Dang, you like your hot dog is loaded! Are you able to pick it up or do you use a knife and fork? Question, is the chili in Texas with or without beans?
By #574505 27,Oct,21 14:30
Without beans .at home just eat by your hand Dairy Queen sell the footlong i cut it
By #610414 28,Oct,21 09:21
I’m not much into regular hotdogs even though my kids love them. I like the classic German bratwurst sausages with onions served on sauerkraut. I believe Wisconsinites love bratwurst.

I guess that I've lost touch with reality.... it now costs $2.00 for 3 minutes of air at the local Speedway station. What in the world!
By #610414 23,Oct,21 14:44
Many locations take debit/credit cards.
I n one week the price of gas went from $3.03/gal to $.38/gal . This did it for me. The next time I’m voting for Trump. 😝🤪

Yea right ,You are apparently well off enough money wise to be able to AFFORD to vote democrat.
By #610414 23,Oct,21 20:34
Obviously you read my post carefully. I didn’t. Did you notice I posted $.38 instead of $3.38? I use a touch pen on my IPAD PRO. Every so often it doesn’t type what I touch. To “afford” has a lot of if’s. Yes, we are comfortable but we don’t like to pay higher prices any more than anyone else. Your comments are on a par with all your other posts.
My whole post was meant to be funny. Everyone, or practically everyone, on this site is either pro-Trump or rabid anti-Biden and they all blame Biden for the rise in gasoline costs. I figured I might as well join all the IDIOTS here and become one too.
By phart [Ignore] 24,Oct,21 09:32 other posts
Idiots eh?
well,go pay for your gas and then look in your wallet and see how much less is in there now as was a year ago and tell me again who is the idiot?
I voted for the man that was in office when fuel was more affordable. Along with food ,building materials, medicines and so on.
By #610414 24,Oct,21 09:53
And 720,000 deaths from a containable pandemic. Let’s not forget that cutting taxes to all those big companies almost bankrupted our economy. You got cheap gas because OPEC was fighting shale oil by pumping more petroleum to bankrupt the shale oil companies in the USA. And you, like a puppy following a mama tit gave thanks to a buffoon who got his ass spanked by a porn star as his wife was giving birth to his son. The one who promised a wall to keep the illegals out and couldn’t even do that. Yeah, I am an idiot for saying I wanted to join the most illiterate, most dumb, group of Americans this nation had the misfortune to produce, even in jest.

He was getting the wall done until your idol, your idea of a savior, the champion of the earth, the man who forgot the word, "GOD" and said, "you know, the THING", stopped construction.

someone needs to tell ol joe biden that the "The Thing" is a cool little car from Volkswagon and not our creator.
