Has anyone been able to unravel the mystery and mechanics of the BEST IMAGE/MEMBER TOP?

I'm going to illustrate what I observed today with regard to 2nice . At 08:16, 2nice was at 23% and I voted [HOT] on his picture and that vote boosted him to 28%. Cool, I'm on board with this. Slightly more than 3 hours later, I check in on the "contest" and 2nice is no longer at 28%, he has dropped down to 9%. What the heck happened, how or why did he drop 19% in 3 hours and 20 minutes?

As far as I could figure out. It seems like for every vote you get 5% upgrading. You're only allowed to vote every 4 hours. It seems like your rating drops faster then you can keep the percentage up. Which means you need multiple members voting for you. In order to keep your picture at the top you would have to spend roughly 300 to 400 points in a 24-hour period to do so. I could be wrong but this is a game built to eat points. And to play by yourself it is not possible to keep your picture above 0% without making the 20 point votes. It seems once you get to 0% your pic is automatically dropped out. So you need partners or a lot of points to stay on top.

The rating does not drop automatically over time, I would never do something blatant like this.

The rating drops only if someone goes over 100%. Since 100% is the max he/she stays at 100% but all the others drop. When you drop, you do not drop fixed 5% though, but rather about 5% from your current rating. I.e. if you were at 50% you will be at 47.5% when someone at 100% receives additional vote. But ff you receive a vote it will always be no less than 5% while you are under 100%.

And a lot of people vote for other people and receive points. It's not that much of a points dump as you imagine. In fact, it's quite close to net 0, aside from some days when several people decide to race against each other.

It is a points eater for sure. I decided to spend close to 200 points to get myself to the top spot. Only to stay there for 15 minutes. Clearly not worth the price, but overall the game gives you exposure. Even if you’re not in the top spot, so worthwhile I guess.

Right now, I have a standard bathtub, no bells, no whistles.
I really hope that 2019 is the year for the long overdue bathroom remodel. I'm not sure that my bathroom can accommodate a "garden tub" without giving up some closet space. We will see.....

I find myself missing the days before the advent of smart phones and social media sites like Instagram. So many post tons of selfies everyday for the likes and such. I kind of miss the days when you were talking to someone and couldn't wait to see them and talk to them in person. I made the big mistake of getting a "smart" phone back in september.I hate it will a purple passion. I was shocked to find out that since unlimited texting is part of Verizons packages, that blocking text was not possiable. I then said well I will not continue the service. The salesman said wait a minute. Well,make it 45 minutes. Software or code was written or modified and sent to my phone to block text. I don't think the trap catches them all as I have gotten 4 text since I got the phone. I tell everyone that text is blocked and not to bother sending 1. I can't see why with all this tech that blocking a annoying text message should be very difficult.
It takes all of a minute to call me up and tell me something.No beating the phone screen,no cussing, just speaking.Any questions, Speak. so simple.
