To admin , with regard to the Evaluation Panel and the Freeze option, will you make it that they are able to Freeze ONLY when they cast a vote and include their course of action?

I would like to think that tenured members are using the Freeze option in the intent it was meant, to save the referred member from being unduly deleted. Thank you.

Yes, as long as the members refer other members, the panel will convene.

Right now, we are "evaluating" a member by the name of aldana . aldana has been a member for 1 year and posted one picture of an Argentinean porn star by the name of Aldana. One member who voted NO ABUSE wrote the following reasoning; "This shouldn't result in a ban unless we figure out if the account is real or not. I've seen pornstars hang out on sites like this before, so it's far from impossible."

I agree with what [s]he wrote however the "we" part is where I'm having difficulty. That's when [s]he should say to themselves, "if it's meant to be, it's up to me" and begin some investigation. I suggested that they request a verification picture or contact admin to verify the IP. Seems to me the verification picture would be possible since the member has posted "her" face.

licksipsuckit placed a Freeze on voting without voting, perhaps she is conducting an investigation.

Yes, it looks like member #568968, aldana, was deleted by the Evaluation Panel.

I actually changed my vote from ABUSE to NO ABUSE. After all things considered, 1) it IS POSSIBLE that member might be an adult web model 2) she was low key, 90 points, 6 gifts on her page in 1 year time but the biggest factor making me change my vote was 3) there are "double standards" on the site. I can think of several SYD members that have internet pictures posted on their page and are able to get away with it because they are premium paid members.

It's difficult to justify that members should be treated differently for doing the same thing. Ever since the abuse "alert" was implemented by admin, there seems to be a number of members who exercise their right to vote but I wonder if they even think about how they are voting. Someone says "fake" or "someone stole my picture" and BINGO, they vote to delete and don't even "investigate" the allegation.

I think that is a really good idea. I sometimes think that some people use the freeze option to avoid actually making a decision.

Thank you, I think it is a decent idea, too. I've seen where members Freeze voting without a reason and for what reason? And IF they Freeze voting, they should explain what they plan on doing. I asked admin for the Freeze to alert and allow the "accused" member to rectify the issue.

It's really difficult to maintain a sense of fairplay when you are able to see paid members posting oodles of internet pictures and it is "allowable". In the event that those members are reported, they re personally evaluated by admin, while the free members who post internet pictures are judged by the Evaluation Panel.

You opted to delete but you want to keep the deleted member around for 24 hours? I agree, you should not be able to freeze unless you cast a vote. And maybe the freeze period could be 12 hours instead of 24.

I don't understand this request. From what I can see in the code - it's impossible to freeze without casting a vote in the same time and it's impossible to freeze without leaving at least 15 characters comment. I can only change it so that it's impossible to freeze if you vote for deletion.

Please review the screenshot sent to you. Although I originally voted to delete, I changed my vote after the freeze was lifted for my reasons stated above as well as on the referral.

I really do hope that the people that vote use sound judgement and offer reasons on why they vote the way they do.
