Bigger question is why are pictures not able to be uploaded immediately, why are they having to wait for authorisation? New members may very well be put off by the delay , which can be hours.
The other issue you brought up is relatively new. Have you have followed admin's posts in the forum? If you haven't, here they are. I believe he was addressing CountryCouple54 on why their pictures were not immediately uploaded. Admin posted the following;

Interesting point that you mentioned that another site you belong to that does not have paid members does not have this hiccup. Please note CountryCouple54's response to admin's post was; "It's ok. The other 2 sites that we do as free members is the same way. Just didn't know it changed on this site."

Wasn't one of your "conditions" that the member vote on said tribute picture? So the guy has asks you, he's paid you and then you remove his tribute pic!? Sounds like you're running some type of scam. Your third point, "challenge myself to see if I can still get the guys exited" put a smile on my face. Now it makes sense to use pictures twenty, thirty, forty years old, it's because you are trying to get SYD mmembers excited, spelled E-X-C-I-T-E-D. Why not show them who they're really dealing with, post pictures taken within the last 10 years?
