When people post on social media, "i am depressed,i wanna die,I am to lazy to live,i hate earth,i hate you ,i hate etc, " and actually mean it,there is a ISP address behind that post,and someone needs to go knocking on the door and say,
" Hey kid,let's sit down and talk about what is bothering you"
WHAT is wrong with that idea?
Or if a fed knocks on the door and a kid comes to the door with a gun and is violent,they obviously need to be put away and dealt with instead of medicated.
You want counselors instead of cops sent to a crime scene,but that is dangerous. Why not send those counselors to talk to folks behind internet post about depression and dying and killing?

Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act
This bill prohibits any person from selling, during a proclaimed energy emergency, a consumer fuel at a price that (1) is unconscionably excessive, and (2) indicates that the seller is exploiting the emergency to increase prices unreasonably. The President may issue a proclamation of such an emergency that specifies the consumer fuel and geographic area covered and how long the proclamation applies.

So many of us do not live with in walking distance of a fire station,a ambulance bay , or a police station.
Here, The average response time now for a deputy,a LONE deputy mind you at 2 am is about 18 minutes. Sometimes 8 to 9 minutes during daylight hours.
Fire response,again,enough personal for a interior attack or rescue operation, 12 minutes at the very best,that is with 2 paid folks already within 200 feet of the truck during daylight hours.
You can't expect the population to rely on these resources as the number of robberys,assaults and so forth would sky rocket. The crooks would KNOW the law abiding citizens would be unarmed and unable to do anything but Run. Is RUN the only thing democrats know to do? RUN from problems? Run From Danger? All handicapped people are not in wheel chairs or on crutches.They may not be able to run,they may just have 1 good arm and can't swing, you assume help is just around the corner when in reality it can be 20 miles up the road.And no you can't hold out until help gets there.What are you going to do with a crook holding a gun on you ,threatening you?
