Voter registration data collected by the state of Florida and shared with POLITICO shows that there are now 6,035 more voters registered as Republicans than Democrats out of 14.3 million active registered voters. Each party has more than 5.1 million voters.
In other words, the amount of Democrats that want that jerk to leave the state is almost as many as Republicans that want him to stay. Florida has a huge number of independents. They have been leaning Republican since the 1990's. They are responsible for this jerk's shadow darkening the Governor's Mansion's door.

Gee, I would hate to face jail time because I embezzled the value of 1.5 MILLION USD in chicken wings! What in the world!? Has the price of chicken wings skyrocketed that I'm "out of touch with reality"? Yes, this was over a period of 2 years but my freezer is not that big so where the heck can you begin to store significant quantities?

The Australian government has zero tolerance with regard to the use of a cell phone when driving. Cool! I wonder whether they have the same attitude or take the same stance for smokers, a parent trying to calm fussy children in the back seat, people changing the radio station, drinking a cup of coffee and/or eating a breakfast sandwich on the way to work. Whatever! Big Brother is watching you!

The States had Jeffrey Epstein but were you aware that our northern neighbor has a perv that has an appetite for young girls? Yes, Robert G. Miller, a Canadian businessman, philanthropist, founder of Future Electronics and billionaire from Montreal appears to be a carbon copy of Epstein. Miller even had his own "Ghislaine Maxwell", by the name of Raymond Poulet, and implemented a similar recruiting method of obtaining more and younger girls! This Fifth Estate CBC documentary is 45 minutes long but really jaw dropping!

Was being funny cause every day they add too it. It was originally the LBT community here now well... It's all labels. Social media whatever platform has made this the new norm. Like every trend it's lost its place of just identifying as gay. We know many gay people and are beautiful people but media has a way of twisting and turning intentions. Heating oil dropped to 4 dollars a gallon while gasoline is on the rise i think this is due to the mild winter in the north the demand for heating oil is low right now I’m mainly heating with propane it only costs me 26 dollars a week to heat my house along with the wood stove

Opec just decided not to cut production so perhaps things will "level" out for a short time. THen we will see high prices and the "summer blend" excuse.
IF fuel is affordable, the country thrives ,if fuel is expensive the country suffers, when will government figure out thriving is better than suffering?

I don't really care what presidents do, but what I don't like is McCarthy saying he's going to cut social security and Medicare, even p. Trump sais not to cut those two. Like I've said b4, I only care about myself and I EARNED what benefits that are coming to me and I need them.
By bella! [Ignore] 02,Feb,23 20:04 other posts

By phart [Ignore] 02,Feb,23 20:27 other posts
Well considering the huge raise social security got recently, perhaps not do any cutting, but get it in writing that there will be no more raises for at least 5 years. That system is already purty much out of money since the social security funds got thrown in the bucket along with the rest of the governments money.
As for medicare, hell it don't pay for shit as it is, once my dad hit about 80,they quit doing his colonoscopy's and the endoscopy's that he was supposed to get every couple years .having Barret's esophagus in his case is not a good thing to let go unchecked.
By bella! [Ignore] 02,Feb,23 20:38 other posts
Huge raise? Really? I thought Social Security was pretty much "it is what it is"....

I think it was 8.9 percent starting jan 23.
quite a kick in the wallet for the old people.
I am not saying they didn't need it but when a system is already drained,by the time I get old enough to get it, it will be gone at this rate.
By #275407 03,Feb,23 02:56
Social security is hurting because the past four presidencies have taken money out of the social security for other spending

Christians Don't Know This Jesus

This is not arguing against Christianity.
But it puts it into an interesting perspective.
It was a new insight for me. Which has been a while,
after listening to so many YouTube discussions on the topic.

Are you thinking it will make me a Christian one day? lol
It's not impossible; it only requires logical argumentation.
It's just that all apologists have failed to provide any of it, so far.
By #610414 02,Feb,23 06:50
Ok, here's one way to think about it. If you don't believe and He doesn't either then it doesn't matter. If you don't believe and He does, when the time comes, it does matter. So, hedge your bets. Believe and either it won't matter or you'll be in with Him.😈

So I'm in Florida and there is a large Hispanic community. Cool! This weekend we went to a "flea market" and there was one shop that had SERIOUSLY ELABORATE dresses. There were many that looked like prom dresses but just as many or more dresses that looked like wedding dresses but came in every color under the rainbow. So I assume that this vendor specializes in Quinceañra dresses. Cool! This gets me thinking and Google-ing for more information. From what I can determine, this is strictly a celebration of the young lady turning 15.

Clearly, the Quinceañra is the celebration for the young lady but is there anything comparable for the 15 year old young man?
By #610414 31,Jan,23 18:35
No. Quinceañeras are the equivalent of Sweet Sixteen in the US. I’ve noticed Sweet Sixteen celebrations are not that common anymore.
By phart [Ignore] 01,Feb,23 10:17 other posts
Well back decades ago,16 meant the gal could get married off and be out of the house on her own. that is frowned on now for the most part so nothing to celebrate.
If they leave at 27 they come back at 31 with 4 kids.

I have yet to see legs on 1, nor a brain.
it requires a sick or deranged human being to operate it. Otherwise it will remain still and will harm nothing.
It is the fault of the deranged human being, and perhaps others that drove them to that point.

This is the nearest thing to a gun with a brain I can find on the internet.and it has to be programmed to some degree.

Phart, it's amazing how you continually miss the point. 🙄
By phart [Ignore] 01,Feb,23 16:05 other posts
No I understand completely that a terrible thing has happened and people were hurt and killed. I do not miss that point at all. The point others like yourself miss is that the tool did not commit the evil act .A human did. And that human is responsible 100+% for what has happened and the victims deserve justice. I have never missed those 2 points.
By #610414 01,Feb,23 16:45
But you've missed the point. If the AR-15 or other firearm is not available, LESS people would be hurt or killed. Yes, I know there are other weapons to maim or kill. A firearm, other than an explosive device, is so much easier, faster, and effective. It also has much less chance the killer can be stopped.

Can someone kindly please explain the GoFundMe process? Thank you. My understanding is that the GoFundMe platform keeps a percentage of the funds collected. Cool!

I read a request to assist a Michigan family of 5 that lost both their mother and father in an automobile accident. I was on the GoFundMe site ready to make a monetary gift but I couldn't help but notice there was a "TIP". A tip, a 30% tip, really? Is 30% the customary fee that the GoFundMe platform claims in order to host this type of event/request?

And in Homestead, Florida, a father places his firearm in side his daughter's book bag and she carries it into school!

Oops!

Yeah, right! The father asserts that he intended to pawn the gun and "forgot" the gun was in the bag. I'm having a difficult time understanding what's going on in the parent's heads nowadays..... Maybe the process of buying a firearm should some type of common sense test, too.

By #610414 31,Jan,23 10:05
You paint with a very wide brush. I'm not saying there aren't any lowlife dope heads in this world, but, for the majority of parents they are or where good parents. Parents these days are my age or younger. I come from the hippy generation. My generation would have been your parents' generation, give or take a few yrs. Our generation turned out to be hard working and successful. We raised successful, well educated, and well adjusted kids. You have this blind look at the younger generation and it's parentage. In particular, you blame narcotics for most of the problems of this country. You don't take into account, poverty, lack of education, bad politics, or discrimination. You see this country as needing a MAGA agent. I, and, at the risk of sounding naive, most Americans like how most of America is like. I don't know why you are so negative when, even you, live a relatively good life.
By phart [Ignore] 31,Jan,23 10:12 other posts
Drugs are a big reason there is lack of education ,hard to learn when you are high.
Poverty ,again comes about because of drugs. people get addicted ,loose everything trying to stay high.
Drugs can even lead to bad politics.
By #610414 31,Jan,23 10:58
You are wrong. Poverty comes from not earning enough for whatever reason. Lack of education and needing to go to work early in life go hand in hand. The average dropout rate of highschool students is approx. 7%. This includes all ethnicities with white students being just over 5% and other ethnic groups, together, being just under 10%.
Of these, about 31% use drugs and may have contributed to them dropping out. This translates to roughly 2.6% of highschool students dropping out because of drugs. That's less than three per hundred students. You call that a major reason for the lack of education in the general population? I don't. That addiction leads to the loss of everything that makes life good is true, but, it's not the biggest reason to having a poor education. Not by a long shot.
By phart [Ignore] 31,Jan,23 15:34 other posts
Of course poverty comes from what you explained but even the richest can become poverish because of drugs.
Drugs have ruined many a life in this country and no one seems to really want to do anything to stop it,only facilitate it.The only reason the drugs are illegal is the government can't figure out how to tax the stuff.
By #610414 31,Jan,23 18:18
"no one seems to really want to do anything to stop it,only facilitate it." Really?
The DEA's FY 2023 request includes over $3.1 billion in support of DEA's mission to enforce the controlled substances laws and regulations of the United States.
BTW, it's hard to tax something that's illegal. I'm in favor of legalizing all drugs, controlling them, taxing them, and make them available to any adult fool that wants to use it.
By phart [Ignore] 31,Jan,23 20:36 other posts
Are you also willing to clean up after the users? Or leave it to familys of loved 1's similar to people killed by the taxed alcohol to have to try to get justice?
By #610414 01,Feb,23 06:47
Are you willing to have a socialist law to clean up. Of course, we would use tax money collected for the drugs.
