Forgive me but why are people acting like this "idea" is a new thing? People have been "repurposing ,refurbishing, repairing, rebuilding" things since things first came along. What was interesting about the link was that the short video addressed the thefts and vandalism taking place in Seattle. The article addressed graffiti which is a form of vandalism but not like broken windows and doors, the husband and wife business owners suffered approximately 11 break-ins and a loss of upwards of $100k because of the lawlessness in Seattle.

Who could ever begin to imagine that Seattle would turn into such a shit-hole?

If you're living toward the east in the UnitedStates, your state probably has an Ollie's Bargain Outlet somewhere nearby. I LOVED shopping the Ollie's in Fort Myer when I was in Florida, it was clean, spacious and organized. The Ollie's in Michigan, not so organized.... l do enjoy bargain hunting!

I do believe that that is their slogan. I'm not so sure that they are always "cheap" but would say that their wares are deeply discounted.

I bought some liquid pump foaming soap from there that I really liked. Best as I can remember, it was manufactured by Proctor & Gamble, which is a mega big company, but I had never heard of this soap or saw this soap anywhere but at Ollie's! Very strange! 🤔

This lady knows. When we are up here we go to the beach at Flagler Beach. A1A runs in front and all kinds of restaurants, beach shacks and live music bars are across the road from the beach. Water is usually cool and active. There's only one problem. It's the shark attack capital of the US. People are dumb.
