Lately, I have been doing a fair amount of shopping on Amazon. I've ordered some casual clothes, shoes, makeup, pet supplies and personal care items, ie a case of toilet tissue. Yep, 2nice , women use a mess of toilet tissue!

I don't really feel like I received a super bargain but, hey, I didn't have to remember to buy it at the store, I don't have to cart it home and I'm set for months! I surely have a command of the English language but I had no idea that when I purchased this case of toilet tissue that they advertised as "compressed", that they would be sending me 32 rolls of SMOOSHED toilet tissue. Rolling this compressed roll of tissue on the rolling dowel dispenser is like driving a car with a flat tire!

Theoretically speaking, if SYD/SYC were not here tomorrow, are there people here that you would still desire to communicate with? What I mean is have you developed any type of bond beyond looking at their physical attributes?

I know it is possible for two members of the same sex, whether both be men, or both be women, to develop a strong bond in adult years, but is there anyone who is able to attest to that?

Yes, I have some friendships that are 40 plus years old, that developed in my adolescent years. The friends are now grown women and a there are 3 men. Not that I go hunting for "new friends" but sometimes I feel it is a bit more difficult to develop new strong/deep bonds as mature.

Several months ago, in another lifetime i guess,I wrote this on a forum entry. At the time I was leaving SYC not knowing i’d be coming back.

I live with three wonderful men. Our dynamics is strange, but, for us, it works. Charlie, my legal husband, and Gerome and Mike, my common law husbands of long standing are my family, and they come first.
I joined SYC about 3 years ago and in that time I met many nice ( and yummy) people that in real life I would have explored a relationship that would have meant more to me than just friendship. There are a few of you that have become very special. Those that did, know who you are and I love you with all my heart and thank you for countless hours of joy. One or two of you, well, let’s just say there exists grouchy people in every facet of our lives.

That, as I’ve said was written at a happier time. Sadly, Charlie, my husband, (some of you know him as Lanser1026), left our home. The love of my life decided he wanted to go his own way, find new horizons, new loves. I’m devastated. Thirty three years having him as my best friend and now it’s over. You probably are asking why i’m posting something so personal here. It’s simple. I need honest perspectives about why it happened. My friends and family all say pretty much the same. Words meant to make me feel better. Here, we really don’t look at each other in the eye. We are able to say what we really mean and that’s what I need. I’m sorry to take up space with a personal problem. Just need advice, love, ****, indifference,,,,,,or,,if nothing else,,,,a chat buddy friend.

Godzillas--conspiracy whack-job and all around loony--blacklisted me today. He says that I am " Abusive liberal retard that needs to be shut down."
As a sign of his bravery, he spent 250 points to send me nasty gifts BEFORE blacklisting me so I couldn't return the favor.

The abuse panel has been buzzing with referrals the last day or two. SYC members being referred with bogus reasons and no proof provided and the voting members vote to delete. What is up with that?
