What is your opinion with regard to the number of people that have Emotional Support An.imals (ESA) such as dogs, ferrets, pigs, peacocks and whatever else they deem supports their emotional wellbeing.
I grabbed a quick lunch today at Mickey D's and in strolls a young lady with a yappy little hairball of a dog that is wearing a vest labeled "EMOTIONAL SUPPORT". I realize that every person that is in need of an emotional support an.imal does not glow lime green but it seems like the need to conduct your day or business with your animal in tow is becoming more prevalent. What are the rights of the person that is already seated that might have allergies relative to being in the presence of the ESA?
Depends on the person that may need a support dog. I know people that need a friend that gives them love and companionship without any strings attached. Other people that, in my opinion, are showing off. This posting explains somewhat:

BE AWARE THAT THE URL WONT BWORK UNLESS "ANIMAL" IS ENTERED MANUALLY
It seems, though, that allergies are not enough cause to stop these people from bringing their **** into the same area as other people
There does appear to be some evidence that there are people who really do benefit from being around an animal. Usually I have to it is a dog that they are talking about as people need to feel their affection reciprocated. Dogs do that reall well I am not sure about ferrets, pigs or peacocks.
We also have organisations that take **** to residential care centres for the elderly as the people living there really do seem to benefit from the interaction with pets.
i'm glad you brought that up. My oldest granddaughter was born with CP, She is wheelchair bound and can't talk. My daughter has this mutt that spends hours with my granddaughter and she laughs and touches the pooch. It's like it knows she's special and gives her more attention,
Oh my gosh. That must have been very difficult for all of you. And yes, **** can sense personality and are very good judge of character. My late pup, a 120lb Ridgeback, could pick out badness at first sight. RIP to my Rhoadie.
I have no problems with pets, at one time I had a dog and acquired a cat to keep her company while I was away at work. Sadly, she has died and I now have two cats. I don't have an issue with pets but I do have an issue with pet owners that allow their pets to disturb others, whether it be the dog that constantly barks next door or the cat that defecates in your vegetable garden OR the yappy hairball that walked into Mickey D's.
I would like to think that the essence of my post was clear but perhaps it was not. The person who is in need of an ESA has the right to enjoy the comfort provided by their a,nimal but what about that person (in the scenario of me at Mickey D's) seated? Don't we have the right to enjoy 30 minutes of peace and quiet? I don't have allergies but WHAT IF I did, or my ch,ild did? Who does the merchant accommodate?
It's still hard,,constant maintenance with nurses around the clock,,tube fed through tummy and ventilating every 12 hrs. But, she never complains and gives us such great smiles. She's my little angel on earth,,
even when there's no need for them they are great companions,,,my two black labs are affectionate, loyal and very playful,, many a night i curled up in bed crying and had them lay by me and give me loves
I just saw on the news that India has decriminalised gay sex. It carried a maximum penalty of life in prison and has been on the books since British rule. This still doesn't make it legal but it certainly is a step in that direction.
The problem, an interviewee said is implementation. Getting people, and in particular religious groups, to accept it will be very difficult. They need only look at any Western country's recent history to see how that will play out.

Indeed the difficult part will be getting over the cultural stigma! It has been years since the caste system was outlawed but the cultural implementation is extremely difficult...
When you consider the attitudes of many of the rural population in particular to very many sexual issues I don't think that the decriminisation will have any major effect for many people.
cody's post about the death of Burt Reynolds and enjoying his movies got me thinking about television and movies that I find entertaining. I like police type shows but on the lighter side, I do like comedy.
One of my all time favorite series was MONK, starring Tony Shaloub. How could I not like that, it's comedy and police all roled into one. I loved that he was OCD!
As for a live comedy series, Saturday Night Live (SNL) in the early days was so fricken funny. Loved it, loved all the early cast members that went on to bigger things.
I was referring to the SNL alumni, Phil Hartman and so many others. Think back and recall the names of many SUCCESSFUL comedy stars that made their start there.
Not to change the subject too much, but, i was channel surfing the other day and landed on an old TV shows channel. They had the ending credits to Peter Gunn and the start of a Perry Mason, That made me think that certain music intros from these shows are universally recognized even if the show is not familiar to the viewer. Think Twilight Zone. Anyone agrees?
Hey, your post is a bit off but that's the way things roll around here so who cares!
Of course there are music intros for television shows as well as just music, that when you hear it, you know the song immediately or you can identify the television program. Do you recall there have been numerous programs like that and NAME THAT TUNE comes to mind. I can name that tune in 9 notes, well, I can name that tune in 4 notes....okay, NAME THAT TUNE!
Probably no other television program with such an iconic and identifiable intro as The Twilight Zone and Rod Serling's voice is very unique as well.

I wish there was a way to un-FREEZE an Abuse Panel freeze as well as updating a comment once the freeze is implemented.
This evening, I froze the vote based on what I had previously observed, not realizing that referred poster had changed or deleted what was initially posted and replaced it with something very inappropriate, an offense that I would have voted to delete them for.
Yes, and did you notice that the member acknowledged that it was an internet picture by tagging it; "FETLIFE"
The member, canaus01 , who is nearing his first anniversary with SYD, has uploaded many legitimate amateur pictures. One of the voting members recognized canaus01's error in judgment and has contacted canaus01 requesting that the picture is removed.
I mean, look at the picture, I can look at it and know it is a commercial picture and I'm sure you can too. I also suspect that the other members viewing the picture are aware of the same yet I wonder why they continue to vote [HOT] to propel this picture into the #1 spot. If you notice, the picture is no longer at 100%, that's because I voted [NOT] twice, hoping to knock it down a couple of pegs. It worked for a hot minute but the membership seems to want it to be #1.
I did notice the Fetlife but it was not a term which I was familiar with. The photo was originally uploaded under the Normal Dicks category. Within days, however, it made its way to the most popular page.
Yes, the photo would have had to have been uploaded under the "Normal Dick" category in order to make it to the Popular Page. That's why I think it was a judgement error on canaus01's part to upload under that category. It probably would not have caught as much attention if it was uploaded under "Miscellaneous" or "Uncategorized".
If you look at the picture, in question, today, September 8, it has 1,060 views, I believe 45 comments and 34 votes that were made by 30 members, and I accounted for myself, a voter voting [NOT]. I can't tell you where I read this however, admin said something to the affect that there are many members that really don't care about "fakes" because often those profiles will meet the need(s), their needs. So with regard to the picture, I'm confident that the members recognize that it is commercial/professional porn, but they don't care, they just like looking at the dick(s).
I think you and admin have a very good point here. For myself I want this site to be genuine amateur people posting genuine photos or videos of themselves but there are many members I am sure who don't feel the same way and are quite happy just to see dicks and pussies wherever they come from.
The two referrals that I froze yesterday had posted an internet pic. the pics themselves are perfectly fine, but in my view should not be here but others may disagree.

I found a couple of SNL skits that featured Norm Macdonald portraying Burt Reynolds. Just my opinion, Norm really seems to look a lot Burt in these sketches. The videos are a hoot!
It seems like Ranch Dressing has become a phenomenon for as long as I can remember. People use it not only on salads, but to dip veggies in, for French fry potatoes, breadsticks and even pizza.
Do you use Ranch Dressing (or anything else) as a dipping condiment for something you are consuming and if so, what is it?
I'm sure it is! Every now and again, I like buffalo sauce for my wings. I have to go easy with things being too spicy, I really **** my tastebuds and got early on and I'm paying for it now!
Regarding the pregnancy contest, as JustWill suggested, a contest for PIRATES might have seen a bigger draw and the other contest..... Hmmmmm.....you forgot to use the asterisk before and after the name. Membership will not be fooled by bootleg contests or impostors.
Thank you,,i happened on his page and wanted to comment on a pic,,i couldn't,,,then i tried to private mesg,,no,,,maybe, i said to myself,,a public mesg,,same. I know he has a right to his settings but why put his pics up in public and not allow any comments,,
I don't know how,,i know how to make someone my friend but i never had to send a request,,everyone beats me to it,, sorry,,,that sounds like bragging,,
