However it was when they spoke about the New York Health Department recommending that people return to wearing masks because of COVID REBOUND that caught my attention. This new virus is no worse then any other virus, it doesn't seem to be killing people any more then any other, but it is more contagious then most other viruses. I wouldn't think that it is a deadly virus that we would need to wear a mask. Unless of course you were involved with elderly or someone with a low immune system ,,,to protect them.

Miles is right, These viruses are made in a lab. Regardless of escaping a highly sealed lab area or just testing the "environment" like covid from fuckers eating bats... FFS. It is the the wording. This group was probably established many years ago and I don't believe that there is/was any vetting done, by admin, on the name, content and/or the exchange of dialog that goes on within.

If you recall, when lix was a member, she was the moderator of over 500 groups and this was one of them. Upon her departure, admin decided to "divvy-up" her groups between a number of members and I'm now the moderator of that group and possibly 30 more.

It's automatic and was programmed long before lix appeared on this site. When some group is left without a moderator for whatever reason or the moderator is not visiting it for more than 2 weeks, the moderatorial rights are automatically assigned to the member who actively visits the group and has better rating than other members (rating is that smily or grumpy face on your profiles). This is actually how lix got all those groups in the first place.
