Perhaps some changes are in order.But to expect the railroad to make changes that will cost them money, you are barking up a very tall tree, them bastards own what little of this country is not owned by china.

THat is 1 of the problems dealing with the rail road .Somehow, they have managed to be mighter than the government in many aspects. Even the small minorities that used to have religious reasons to not approve of gay people, are more accepting of them now, when they come to live in their neighborhood, when they work as colleagues or when they become part of their family.

but it's still normalized as much as can be. When it comes up in a conversation that a person is gay, the reaction is just 'Oh, OK' and everything associated with that is no surprise then anymore. Any further conversation about living situations, marriage, children and parenting would take into account that they are gay and might be a little bit more complicated, but would be as mundane as any conversation about living situations, marriage, children and parenting with a straight couple.

It's not the parents who should worry about work, it's up to the employers to provide temporary replacements. I would even support that for the president.
And there is the work at home option for 1 of the parents as well to help make house payments and still be there for the kids.
