Health insurance is paid for by premiums, paid for by your fellow Americans.
What is the difference between those systems that you don't like?

By the way; I have Health Insurance too, and when I would need to have an operation,
I just swipe my card. Just like when I was younger, and we had single payer healthcare. The only difference after our healthcare was privatized; it's much more expensive now and I pay for the dentist myself.

However, I want to live in a world where we don't constantly fight with each other
for what's best for ourselves, so I want to organize with everyone else, to share resources in a way that everyone can be happy about. No one wants everyone
to have the same, that's just a dumb straw-man of socialism. People who use their abilities and time to push humanity forwards should be rewarded for it.
However, we are living in a reality where the most selfish people are rewarded.
That is NOT how we eliminate fighting with each other for what's best for ourselves, that's the opposite. That means if you gain the system, to get what you want,
other people don't like that. Actually, you don't even like it yourself.

Yes, if he gets caught doing something illegal, Criminal Court for him and we won't hear from him for many years.
It doesn't matter what the owner class gets caught doing. If it even gets to a trial,
it will be Civil Court and some fines that the shareholders and customers will end up paying. At worst the company goes bankrupt, the owners will still get to keep all their billions of dollars, top management get nice severance pays and new cushy jobs, and the contractors, customers and employees are screwed.
When is the last time that you've seen a CEO or an owner of a big company
go to jail, for millions of dollars in fraud? That's the real two-tier justice system.

If you are hiding a big part of your money on an account that you didn't provide the bank statement of, and they find out about that money, they will come for you hard.
If they ask you for bank statements, they are asking about your capital,
not just your property and income. Just be careful.
At some point, I was planning to accumulate some of my capital in the form of gold. The idea was that gold is a good insurance against inflation and that if I bought the gold long enough in the past, when I eventually go over the $125,000 exempt limit to the wealth tax, and the tax authorities won't have a record of it anymore. I didn't go through with it, after I bought one coin. It's too difficult to spend it eventually.
I'm sticking with just savings and investments.

We have that so people can have capital without paying taxes on it and it makes it possible to make a partner or children co-owner. But, you pay business taxes over the money, when you take some out. It's only profitable if the holding makes a very good return.

The foundation for SNAP was first built in 1933 as part of the Agricultural Adjustment Act (AAA). During the Reagan Republican administration it was severely underfunded causing wide spread hunger of the people in poverty.

There is no such thing as 'free' government healthcare,
but single payer healthcare is just much more cost efficient.
You don't need insurance companies skimming money from healthcare.
I support a retirement system that everyone pays into and then EVERYONE
is entitled to it, so that's you too.
I only support government aid for people who need it, otherwise it's just

The system should work for people who don't know how to work it.

In my country, wealth tax is exempt up to €57,000 ($63,000) for a single person and double for a couple. It's for exempt assets; cash, savings and investments. It's 36% over a fictitious return on interest, dividend and trading. In 2024 that fictitious return is 1,03% for savings and 6,04% on investments. On my savings the interest rate is currently 2%, but I'm sure I make a better return on my investments than 6,04%. I don't know exactly, because that's a hell of a job

I don't have to worry yet about paying wealth tax, but when I do get over the exemption of $126,000, I will just pay it. It's incredibly difficult to hide money in my country and the fines if they catch you are high. Also, I want to invest that money myself, which is impossible if I hide it in some Swiss or Cayman Islands bank account. The taxes I would be able to avoid would never compensate for the return I would not be able to make.
