November 22 2pm EST: three US / Canada border crossings closed between Ontario and US. Peace Bridge, Rainbow Bridge and Queenston Lewiston Bridge.
Vehicle explosion on US side of Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls NY.

Buffalo airport closed.

i was just reading about this and the page said there may be a second vehicle involved! And of course that new york governor is saying it's not terrorism. What else would it be for a car to be hauling so much explosives they can't even tell the license numbers on the car?
By kebmo [Ignore] 22,Nov,23 20:21 other posts
The VIN will identify the car.
By phart [Ignore] 22,Nov,23 22:39 other posts
after watching the video, that car went airborne!
So they may have wanted to make a grand entrance into canada or blow up the place or something.
brings back memories of this situation. if gas could make a explosion, this motor home sure missed a good chance to make 1, as they have propane bottles, gas tank for the rv's engine also.

Oh booohooo, I wanted our tranny to win.

She shouldn't win, just because she was born as a male,
she should win on fair judgement on the parameters set by the contest.

"The winner of the competition must be confident. She must understand the values of our brand and the responsibilities of the title. She must have the ability to articulate her ambition. A delegate should demonstrate authenticity, credibility and exhibit grace under pressure."

I trust that Miss Nicaragua fitted those parameters better.

Ow wow, that's indeed very creative.
That must have impressed the judges. It looks great and it's 'green'.
It was probably not very comfortable to wear, with all those sharp edges.
But, a Miss can smile like an angel, while their nails are pulled off.

But, I'm surprised that you watch the Miss Universe contest at all.
It's no longer just a beauty contest. With the 'values of our brand and
the responsibilities of the title' they mean being the wokest, greenest,
most inclusive, power-woman in the world.
That's the Barbie movie on steroids. I would expect you to cancel it.

I read about the results some times, not very interested in it really.

Hope this is a good place to post this: those new LED lights are too bright and hurt my eyes. Is there possible damage from those? I don't like them and I think they are bad for our eyes.
By dgraff [Ignore] 21,Nov,23 19:24 other posts
I hate them to as we get older our eyes change we don’t see as well at night and them bright blue head lights blind me
By sherryann [Ignore] 21,Nov,23 19:39 other posts
Yes I know those headlights on cars too must be some new brighter things they are blinding. And I too have a harder time seeing at night. I rarely drive at night because of it among other reasons.
By phart [Ignore] 21,Nov,23 20:19 other posts
I put 8 4 foot led lights in my shop and they are bright if I look up or coming out from under something but they really light it up. They are made to screw into a regular bulb socket and fold out to 4 feet.
The headlights, ha, I am disgusted with the led's I put in 1 of my trucks, no better for me to see with than the old 1 sealed beams. But yet, every yahoo I meet on the road with them blinds me.

How do I get my pink page color back?
By #681164 18,Nov,23 12:33
Go here on your page:
Show It Off Groups Recent Uploads Chat [Colors] Who's near you?

Hit on [Colors] and pick the color you want. It takes from a few minutes to 24?hrs to change. I believe but I'm not certain that if you log out the new color shows up when you log in again. 🌹

Nice but, I'm just not up to manhandle a big unit. Now I'm looking at very light campers.

A sleeping bag and a pop up tent strapped to the sissy bar of the motorcycle is good enough for me
By phart [Ignore] 15,Nov,23 21:24 other posts
I put up what i thought was a nice tent, brand new, was supposed to be big enough for 6 people,i got it that size so I could stand up in it,
First night,I couldn't sleep because i could hear every friggen thing ,bugs, croaking things, you name it, then the damn thing got wet and soaked my bed, made me sick sleeping in it that night. I bought a camper shell for the truck after that, a year of that shit of trying to get dressed sitting on my ass, and I got the welder warmed up and built a damn camper from scratch. I am looking to upgrade to something with a toilet and shower built in.
By tecsan [Ignore] 16,Nov,23 00:14 other posts
If you want to use a tent, my suggestion is do as I have and get one of those 4 post covers to go over the tent.
By #681164 16,Nov,23 18:21
Did you waterproof the tent B4 going camping? All tents get damp during rain and seams tend to leak.
By phart [Ignore] 16,Nov,23 18:44 other posts
I unpacked it brand new, didn't know anything about waterproofing.
By #681164 16,Nov,23 19:00
Almost every tent I've ever owned needed waterproofing from the start. Tecsan has a good idea.
By phart [Ignore] 16,Nov,23 20:29 other posts
True,If I ever try it again, I will use my ez-up over it.

I'm thinking of going this route. They weigh less than 750lbs. Easy and economical. I like their 6'x8'.

That is probably a great outfit, but I see 2 issues.1 ,he mentioned the fender lights being missing. If you tow that thing at night, those 2 little lights ,that are not needed to comply with the laws, will distract you by being in the mirror all the time.
Missing for that reason,
2, the air conditioner, it should be on the back not the front. if you have to tow in the rain, moisture will get into nicks and crannys and damage the framework and prompt mold in the insolation.
I am wondering in this situation if a high top camper shell in the back of a Colorado pickup wouldn't be a similar option.
I have the Leonard Gold crown high top shell with slider windows and screens on my truck with a 8 foot bed, overnight stay in the spring or fall is ok unless privacy is a issue then you have to cover the windows which blocks the air flow.Plenty of room just to sleep over night and if I was still prospecting, i would probably use it for those over night stays.
By #681164 18,Nov,23 12:29
Any 6'x8' space will do. Have you thought about a rooftop fan/vent?
By phart [Ignore] 18,Nov,23 13:32 other posts
Not on the truck as I am concerned about leaks.

Neat idea, but I am still scratching my head, why doesn't someone come up with a electric truck with a friggen 8 foot bed instead of a bunch of doors?

So i have a question
I know this young woman 23 years old she is pregnant and has tried to abort the baby using the pill 💊 not only once but twice to no avail now she is 8 months along and going to have this baby my question is can this baby have birth defects due to the pill the poor baby might come out looking like mongo I’m afraid this young woman ruined her life and the babies to
By phart [Ignore] 12,Nov,23 11:49 other posts
According to the internet, the baby will come out normal.
only registered users can see external links

BUT I will say this, it all depends on their idea of normal.
You know, the new normal seems to be kids that don't know what they are gender wise, they grab guns at 13 and kill people , and so forth so ,yea, the baby might be "normal" by those standards.
I know drug addicts that have babies , the baby is addicted and that has caused a friend of mine and his wife a lot of trouble the past 19 years. 19 years old and the state says he has the mind of a 8 year old and they want to put him in a institution.
By dgraff [Ignore] 12,Nov,23 14:34 other posts
Just goes to show you that pill is not full proof and young people should not be allowed to make decisions
By phart [Ignore] 12,Nov,23 17:24 other posts
Well It has taken me a long time to understand it but it has finally came to me.
Liberals that support abortion ,don't value life much if any. If they actually cared about young people, they would encourage people to use protection to PREVENT instead of counting on erasing mistakes.
By dgraff [Ignore] 12,Nov,23 17:41 other posts
I agree 💯 percent

My brother and his wife waited until they were in their 30s before they had children because they wanted to be established both of them having good jobs and bought their house and i commend them for that they were responsible and were no burden on the government

Hey dgraff, all I know is it's not good taking all that stuff during the 1st trimester which is a crucial time. That was years ago and I have no idea about those types of things these days. Hope the baby is ok.

Phart there's a big disconnect between encouraging young people to use protection and for those same young people using protection. From your posts I get the impression that you put great expectations on parental advice and that you feel liberals don't give that advice. Why?
I've always lived in big cities where the population was very diversified. Having been a tech much of my life, usually in a customer's home or business, I picked up on how young people are guided. Most families of every political spectrum give their kids very good advice. Almost universally, kids do what they want, regardless.
I don't support abortion. I support women and their right to determine what happens to their body. Catholics are very concervative and the Church tells us it's a sin to use contraceptives. Do you advocate for Catholics to break with the Church?
By phart [Ignore] 14,Nov,23 09:58 other posts
A zipper is simple protection that is in compliance with all religions and rules and laws.
If it is not opened at the wrong time, no problems, no mistakes.
Catholics do approve of zippers don't they?
And apparently catholics don't mind sex outside of marriage because that would be the main time protection would be needed.a married couple should be in a position to accept the results of their actions.

of course i forget the catholic leaders are the 1's that take the young males "under their wings". no need for protection there I guess except from the law enforcement.
By #681164 13,Nov,23 12:39
It's too late to get an abortion but she should have gotten one after the first time the pill didn't work. It is possible to predict the mental condition of a new born in the womb. Long range after birth is another thing, but, she should be able to get medical info now.
