Did anyone watch the VMA's? Whathaheck is up with Hannah Montana?
By #301038 28,Aug,13 16:36
That was plain scary, my husband and I thought that she must have been drunk, on E or Molly, or had a horrible crotch itch due to a yeast infection and had an uncontrollable urge to scratch that hole of hers.

They "bleeped" the part of her song when she says that they were dancing with Molly but didn't censor her and that damn foam finger that she rubbed everything with.

I have been hearing this same topic and discussion for the past two days, I just never thought I would hear it here, this is so ironic I have to laugh.

Twerking is one of the words to be added to the Oxford Dictionary of English, along with, selfie and Omnishambles......which was voted word of the year in 2012.

Grrrr........I just drove 50 miles from home to work only to find that towers 500 and 600 have been without power for approximately 9 hours. I'm expected to sit here for the next 8 hours plus, without auxiliary power and no land line? Really?
By #164428 27,Aug,13 11:37
OMG. I'm sorry; that blows beyond reason.

They suspended operations and sent us home at 11:30. I will be home in about 30 minutes, what a waste of my day and 4 gallons of gas.

Ben Affleck is the next Superman? Really? Why? Is it because their first choice, James Gandolfini, recently passed away?
By #303133 23,Aug,13 13:10
Ben Affleck is the next BATMAN. Still sucks. I was hoping that Time-Warner would borrow Johnny Depp from Disney. That way, we would get a drunken, gay pirate Batman...
By Sickboy [Ignore] 23,Aug,13 14:41 other posts
I heard this in the news today!... No fucking way!!,.. Good director, but definitely not batman material.

By #170523 07,Aug,13 19:30
Anyone else say "Oh Fuck" when they go outback to piss and scare deer and fawns away. I would guess someone here knows what I am talking about.
By bella! [Ignore] 07,Aug,13 20:08 other posts
Maybe there wouldn't be a need to swear or scare the wildlife away if you use the indoor plumbing. Problem solved!
By #23212 07,Aug,13 21:32
But bella!, what about the need to scare bears away (ya gotta visit dem mountains sumday, Hun )?
By #201583 08,Aug,13 08:34
All a woman has to do to scare a "bear" is flash them. Unless the "bear" is bisexual. In that case I wouldn't suggest playing dead.
By #358797 08,Aug,13 16:40
No joke, I was pissing in the woods once, and a raccoon snuck up on me. I screamed like a bitch and ran back to the tent with my pants halfway down. Lol.

If you love cars, this is the weekend for the Woodward Dream Cruise. Eat your heart out, world.....

The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day automotive event, drawing about 1.5 million people and 40,000 classic cars each year from around the globe. Spectators can see muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles dating across several decades.[4] The majority of the cars on display are those that were available and prevalent during the 1950s, 60s and early 70s prior to the OPEC oil embargo, which led to the Corporate Average Fuel Economy regulations of 1975 and the proliferation of more fuel-efficient and less powerful automobiles. However, the Woodward Dream Cruise also welcomes vehicles of all models whose owners have either scrupulously maintained or customized their car to create a unique vehicle or statement.

Nelson House, a plumber from Ferndale, came up with the idea for the cruise in 1994 to help raise money for a chil*dren's soccer field in his community.[4] Organizers initially expected 30,000 or 40,000 people to come to the August 19, 1995, inaugural cruise on Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Berkley, Huntington Woods, Royal Oak and Birmingham. About 250,000 actually showed up.[4] It is now the largest single day classic car event in the world, and brings in over $56 million annually to the Metro Detroit economy.[5]

Although the cruise officially takes place on only one day, each year the celebration starts early in the summer with these classic vehicles brought out onto the streets in preparation, and ancillary events are scheduled in the sponsoring communities of Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak, Huntington Woods, Berkley, Bloomfield Township, Bloomfield Hills, and Pontiac.[5]

You know what's bullshit? People that are only your friends when its conveinant to them. They can ignore you and act like you don't exist for days on end, yet when they are feeling sorry for themselves and no one better is around suddenly youre like spray cheese, they love you, and youre their bff.

I look at it this way, staying in touch is good but there is a thing called being a pain in the ass. If I always do the initial contact I quickly get the feeling it is all one sided and get the message.

Come on Bella. Just imagine the conversation:

Phil: Do you want to do-do, Bill?

Bill: Hell ya! Can I stick it in your do-do?

Phil: Oh please do, do! But first I must do-do.

This is the first week of August and technically, our last month of summer. I woke up and it is fricken 47 degrees out. YIKES! What happened, where did summer go?
By #201583 05,Aug,13 10:06
Mother Nature has been hitting that crack pipe again.
By #339790 05,Aug,13 11:51
Don't go to the southeastern USA Bella....It is usually late Oct/early Nov before we see 47' out....Hottern a $2 pistol out here now...I wish I could afford a summer home in Montana or NW Wyoming near Yellowstone. And live here (NE Alabama) in winter. We do have an occasional below zero temp and a little snow...but next day it is all melted off. Summer here is right opposite of winter in the NORTH...I worked/lived awhile in Northern IN...I did not care for the weather....Hot-N-Humid June/July/Aug. Then as you said ...starts getting cold by end of Aug. Lots of folks retire from the Midwest move to the southern US...Mostly Florida but we have some in this area too.
By #409634 05,Aug,13 12:29
Lucky its 91 mid morning, and very humid.

Do the male members feel more masculine and manly when they attack female members on the site?
By #409634 31,Jul,13 11:30
It makes them feel like a women.

Looking out on the morning rain
I used to feel so uninspired
And when I knew I had to face another day
Lord, it made me feel so tired

Before the day I met you, life was so unkind
But you're the key to my peace of mind

'Cause you make me feel
You make me feel
You make me feel like a natural woman
By bella! [Ignore] 31,Jul,13 13:34 other posts
Just for a point of reference, within 10 minutes of my comment of the manly male members, I received a gift of a steaming pile of shit and had an endearing message left on my wall from someone I've never talked to. Now that's what I call a real man.
By #201583 31,Jul,13 14:08
He speaks friendly to "nonidiots." Let's just attach prefixes to any word we want. Prefixes don't have any rules, but come on. At least check the list in the dictionary for words that start with "non." "Nonidiot" isn't even listed in the Urban Dictionary. I would classify his use of "nonidiot" as a classic example of an idiom. Why else would he have not of used "intellectuals" instead?
By bigguy [Ignore] 31,Jul,13 14:32 other posts
Miss Bella, only speaking for myself and severral other guys I know on here and this is my opinion. Please don't include all of us and i'm sure you didn't mean to, your statement started out "Do the male members". I'm a male in every since of the word and if any of my lady friends would care to contribute I think it will be known at least one male on this site is polite and very repectful. I'm not ringing my bell only stateing a fact, it hurts to be put in a category with losers! You're a good lady and I didn't write this to say you are wrong only that the way I read it I just felt it referred to all the males. Please forgive me if I misundersttood.

While listening to the morning news, I was aghast that that a game show in Pakistan had given away babies as prizes. The name of the game show loosely translates to "The Price Is Right". Any American that is familiar with that program must remember Bob Barker who would close each program by saying; "Reminding you to help control the pet population, have your pet spayed or neutered." Maybe the pet population should have a PSA about the irresponsible humans.

can there be love found?, where there is no love lost?
By #354961 25,Jul,13 07:11
Love cannot be found. How you can find something what does not exist?
By Sickboy [Ignore] 25,Jul,13 17:44 other posts
Its there, (i know)...you can only lose somthing, when you find it!..
By #354961 28,Jul,13 19:34
How do you know? Have you lost one?
By Sickboy [Ignore] 30,Jul,13 19:53 other posts
Yes once
--------------------------------------- added after 3 minutes

......but then I found it again!, and now it been 15 years and still very much in love
By bella! [Ignore] 30,Jul,13 21:37 other posts
How wonderful is that!
By #326485 25,Jul,13 19:05
You can always find something that is there. It doesn't have to be something that was lost. A pretty flower is there and not be lost, it is just there. Finding love is more like recognizing that what is right there in front of you is love, your soulmate, the person who you are meant to be with and in love with.
By #170523 28,Jul,13 21:19
One can find love( like finding a flower) but keeping it alive is another matter,, did it die, did you lose it or was it never really there.
By #316255 28,Jul,13 21:22
Romantic love is fleeting. There are other kinds of love. The love I have for my kids is what keeps me ticking.
By #23212 28,Jul,13 23:44
Gee, did -drifter's cynicism get to you? Romantic love can be life-long, and keep ever growing.
By #316255 29,Jul,13 01:33
No, the person I share my life with did.
