Your views, thoughts or simply opinions. The Economy is not well (understatement). I know there are some here that will try to link the country they are residing in as problems of the USA. Sorry the USA cannot be responsible for 100% of the problems in the world nor should they be expected to help repair all problems.

I also love him as "Anger" in the movie "Inside Out". That's great casting.

This is why I always watch animation films from Hollywood in the original language.
They mostly do a great job on the casting of the voices. We have great actors and comedians, but when they translate these movies, they often don't pick the best.
We get stuck with Marcel Hensema for "Anger". I have no idea who he is.
A lot goes 'lost in translation'.

I can't argue his choice of postmaster was a good 1, but the postal service around here was in the toilet before Trump ran for prez.

Trump appointed someone who wanted to crush the organization he was appointed to, to several organizations, his choice of postmaster was not an exception.

So since she says she will shoot a intruder, I feel sure your support and that of cat and ananas will falter. Crooks have more rights and shouldn't be shot, they should be offered tea and crumcakes to enjoy while they pillage your home and maybe **** you and kill you.

this is funny. This dr is going to vote green party in protest. May as well vote for the 1 she doesn't like, a vote on a 3rd party for prez is a wasted vote.

It depends in what area you live. If you live in a swing state or a contested district, then you need to vote strategically for the lesser evil, but if you live in a 'safe' blue or red area, you can vote for your first choice. It sends a message to the two big parties that they don't own you as a voter.

Is there any evidence besides the trips?
Did Comer find someone like the witness against Hunter, for Tim Walz?

When Jared Kushner traveled to Saudi Arabia several times, he came back with a $2 billion investment for his families business. Did they find something like that for Tim Walz?
Trump gave Saudi Arabia a $8.1 billion arms deal. Did they find any quid pro quo for Tim Walz from China? Maybe they like American children to receive free lunches in school?
Or do the Chinese sell tampons?

As I said to your other post, it seems you prefered the cold war era where as we did bomb drills in school and lived in hatred and fear of the russians?

If you look at the situation now, china is the new russia, we are being told to be afraid of china, hate china and etc, same as we were told about russia years ago.
where did that get us?
no where good.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 30,Sep,24 09:23 other posts
It's not necessary to praise authoritarians, to prevent a (cold) war.
I'm not even asking him to treat authoritarians, like he's treating
the democratic leaders of allied countries (like crap).
How about just being diplomatic towards authoritarians, like Putin?

Being told to hate a country and being afraid of a country is propaganda.
Why can't they just be honest about the actions and goals of every country?
It's because they need your anger and fear to do things you would otherwise
not support.

If you think that is what Trump doing, you're wrong.
Trump actually likes authoritarians and hates democratic leaders.
He cannot help but to like them, because he wants to be them.
He thinks he can deal with them, but he is wrong.
That's the overconfidence, and it's the proverbial rope that will hang YOU.

Don't you think it would be an unfair election race, if Trump is allowed to fly anywhere,
to spread his message, but Harris can only get there by train, or not at all?
I'm sure you would like that, but that would be stupid.

The difference between Harris's climate action and Trump's (which is none)
will correct for that emitted CO2 in no time.
By phart [Ignore] 27,Sep,24 08:31 other posts
Trump is flying around in his OWN plane. Harris is having to hire a plane, that should shed a light on things to.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 27,Sep,24 09:02 other posts
What light? That Trump has that kind of money and Harris doesn't?
Is it supposed to shine a light on their support for climate action?
By phart [Ignore] 27,Sep,24 13:47 other posts
No the "light" or attention, should be paid towards harris ,being she has not done well enough for herself financially to be able to afford her own plane. Meaning she may not be fit for office. If a person can't be successful in their personal life, the chances of them leading a nation to success is are much less.
Climate change advocates that really believed what they are pushing, would be traveling by electric-hybrid bus or car, setting a EXAMPLE

Money doesn’t make a person successful, a good life, good family, and feeling happy what you’ve accomplished in your life does.
By phart [Ignore] 27,Sep,24 16:19 other posts
You are correct Cody but money is also a good indicator of success.

ananas calls Trump dumb and everything else. When faced with a financial issue ,he used the bankruptcy court as it is designed. My sorry ass neighbor has used it about 3 times I know. each time buying his former company that went belly up with a loan he got under a new company name for penny's on the dollar of it's value. He wound up with all the equipment, hummer, and etc essentially for 10 cents on the dollar using bank ruptcy. Right? Wrong? Not impressive to me, had he paid the damn loan off the first time he did it and started making money and paying the second 1,I wouldn't have a issue.mistakes happen but the way he did it was shady, I don't know how Trump used the system but i feel sure his advisors used the system as designed.
Trump did not 'do well', he was born wealthy. That's being lucky, not successful.
Kamala Harris was not born wealthy and didn't have the goal of becoming wealthy,
she had a goal of public service. Trump only has a goal of service to himself.

When you are born wealthy, it is almost impossible to loose that.
It means owning stuff, that accumulates more wealthy, while you're asleep.
It's almost impossible to loose that wealth. You just hire some people to manage your wealth for you. Still, Trump managed to go bankrupt SIX TIMES! He's an absolute fuck-up when it comes to business. His only skills are getting the media to pay attention to him and taking advantage of dumb people. He screws over all his business associates, so only the worst people want to work with him and he fucks over his subcontractors and employees. He spent more time in court than in school, but he always gets away with his crimes or just pays some fines, because of the
two-tiered justice system that benefits wealthy people, especially when they have a strategy of endless obstruction and delays. Trump is the worst crook to ever enter the White House and it's a goddamned embarrassment to your country, that so many Americans keep supporting him.

Kamala Harris is not a 'climate change advocate', she's just not stupid.
On climate change, I expect just better than Trump, but nothing special at all.
She will invest in renewables, but she will also keep the US at peek oil production.

A Haitian group in Springfield, Ohio, files citizen criminal charges against Trump
and Vance. Specifically, the affidavit alleges Trump and Vance:

- Disrupted public service "by causing widespread bomb and other threats that resulted in massive disruptions" to Springfield's public services.

- Made false alarms "by knowingly causing alarm in the Springfield community by continuing to repeat lies that state and local officials have said were false".

- Committed telecommunications harassment "by spreading claims they know to be false during the presidential debate, campaign rallies, nationally televised interviews, and social media".

- Committed aggravated menacing "by knowingly making intimidating statements with the intent to abuse, threaten, or harass the recipients, including Trump's threat to deport immigrants who are here legally to Venezuela, a land they have never known".

- Committed aggravated menacing "by knowingly causing others to falsely believe that members of Springfield's Haitian community would cause serious physical harm to the person or property of others in Springfield".

- Violated the prohibition against complicity "by conspiring with one another and spreading vicious lies that caused innocent parties to be parties to their various crimes.".

Vance has peddled the same claims and admitted they were likely false, while still encouraging their supporters to share them.
The courts must now decide if Trump and Vance violated free speech exceptions.
I think your laws describe their actions as pure "Incitement".
False statements of fact that are said with a "sufficiently culpable mental state" can be subject to civil or criminal liability. Knowingly making a false statement of fact can sometimes be punished. Libel and slander laws fall under this category.
By leopoldij [Ignore] 25,Sep,24 19:30 other posts
To see what kind of piece of shit this vance is, consider that he finally admitted that he lied when he said that immigrants eat pets and added

“The American media totally ignored this stuff until Donald Trump and I started talking about cat memes. If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do.”

That's evidence of his 'mens rea'. That's why there is 'know to be false' and 'knowingly' in the accusations. Spreading damaging information about people is only 'libel', if you know it isn't true.
By leopoldij [Ignore] 26,Sep,24 21:08 other posts

We will see now that Adams is also indicted. I also agree with phart about the illegal aliens from Haiti.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 27,Sep,24 05:13 other posts
They are not illegal aliens. They have a LEGAL protection status to work.
You should like them, they are hard working Christians.
93% of the population of Haiti belong to a Christian denomination.
The US population is only 63% Christian.
If they were to become US citizens, they would probably vote Republican.
They probably still would, even after how you treated them.
Why do you think such a Republican controlled area accepted them?

I am looking forward to this election getting DONE. I know we won't know who won for at least a month but the signs, the tv coverage, it is getting on my nerves.
ANYONE that would really be great for the job,is smart enough not to run for it.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 25,Sep,24 03:40 other posts
Funny, you say you're afraid of the effect Harris has on stupid people,
not of the effect Harris has on your country.

You will know who won, in only days after the election.
Unless Republican controlled election offices try to steal the election.
There are 70 high officials, loyal to Trump, who are planning to do that.
Then you will have a court battle like you saw last time.
The difference is that actual election interference leaves evidence.
The truth will come out eventually, like last time.

Of course Trump will deny it, when he loses, but those are lies.
And maybe people will be stupid enough to believe him again
and try to help him steal the election again.
What would you want to do with protesters who obstruct the country?
Even blocking a street should be met with violence, right?

That's no reason to just say 'bye bye' to democracy.
