Yes he does carry a different persona than bush or clinton or Obama.. BUT he's done the best job out of all of them combined even when the entire democratic party and the fake news complex is throwing everything at him..
Most of the posts I've read on here, from folk who have been critical of Trump quite vocally, wish him well in his current health travails. I do, for one.

I would suggest all of those are either unfounded, opinions, or flat-out wrong. Plus, it all goes back to the first post I criticised - Liberals are not (in totality) hoping for Trump to die, or remain ill, which is what your post implied.
PS. nothing wrong with having an opinion, but recognise that it is an opinion, and not a "fact" that everyone agrees with.

Everyone knows when you get back to work early, often you just get a relapse. Even if leaving the hospital might be just for show and at home he quickly crawls into bed, he's still taking a big risk. Specialist say that the progress of a Covid infection cannot be predicted until at least the ninth day.
Trump looks like he will be back in the hospital soon. If that happens, I hope he will walk out again eventually.
The White house is supposed to be his home during the time he is working for the American people.
The timing sucks for all this.He has to work for his campaign,his country,US. Had this happened to him in the spring,he might could have gotten by resting a week or 2.
I was and still am afraid of a relapse.I don't know what steriod he is being given.BUT.I was on steriods for a short time for some surgery.You feel great while on Predisone.BUT when you come down off that shit,You hit rock bottom and you can hardly lift your head up off a pillow.I doubt honestly he will be able to debate again,if he does,you won't have to tell him to shut up.He will do it on his own sadly. Why don't you move to China, South Korea or Saudi Arabia. You would like what they do to protesters there.
However, Trumps base will very enthusiastically vote for him, while there is not much enthusiasm for Biden.
Biden has a problem attracting young people. They might just not show up for him.
Black lives matter want to defund the police, but Biden says he will not and he is really not clear about alternative policies to help their cause. That means black voters might also not come out for him.
The progressive base of the Democrats are still pissed off how Bernie got screwed again by the Democrats and are facing a hard choice to suck it up and vote for Biden or vote for a third party.
Meanwhile the Democrats are playing nice with Republicans and let them speak at their convention. They will certainly never convince Trumps base to vote for Biden like that and it's questionable if it will pull in any more Never-Trumpers. It does however piss off the progressive base even more.
It is clear that it will be a messy election. Many people will vote by mail and those votes will be counted later. Since Republicans vote by mail much less, it is highly likely that Trump will first take the lead when the counting starts, but when more mail in ballots are counted Biden will take over the lead. This might even be after victory has already been claimed for Trump. This will look very suspicious, because Trump has warned about mail-in voting for months.
Unless it turns out a clear landslide for one candidate, I predict it will turn out to a fight in court. Hopefully the fighting will be contained to just that.
According to Wikipedia Alaska voted for the Republican the last 13 elections. Do you think it will turn out different coming election?

I just hope they actually count the ballots correctly.I can't remember which election it was that some countys in florida had a 110% voter turn out?.How do you get MORE than 100% voter turn out? That means if your county has 10,000 voters, and you have 110% turn out,that means a 1000 votes came crawling out of the Everglades and the swamps to vote right?

I fear that the ONLY reason it will be a mess is if the loser claims voter fraud, without proper evidence. How sad will it be if the Election result ends up being decided in a courtroom - not a great advert for US democracy, huh?
