GENE HACKMAN R.I.P.

Bad news this morning, double Oscar winner Gene Hackman and his wife have both been found dead at their home in America along with their pet dog. Police say they do not suspect foul play but something weird must have happened for them to all die at the same time, the dog couldn't have committed suicide. Gene was 95, unbelievably, and his wife only 63. He made some great films, including "Bonnie and Clyde" in 1967 where he played Clyde's brother Buck and, of course, my two favourites 17 years apart "The French Connection" in 1971 and "Mississippi Burning" in 1988.

What a sad loss. He was such a memorable actor.

The first thing I thought was carbon monoxide poisoning too, but there are a few suspicious details. However the news also has a tendency to do sensationalism,
by repeating unverified claims, just to hook their viewers.

Yea the media first said no suspicious activity but now they are saying pills in the bathroom near the lady and a dead dog in the closet, which a dog would go hide to die most likely. If the dog ate some of the pills after the lady dropped them, that could explain the dog. I hope they figure it out.good actor for sure ,I liked his acting in the Superman movies. He had a great plan for california

A year ago someone had filmed him at a service station putting fuel in his truck. He was unrecognizable...very thin and obviously very old.

Phart is right, carbon monoxide seems most believable.
Sad news anyway.

Yes I’m sure something strange happened, R.I.P.

More than likely carbon monoxide from a furnace, that would explain all of them being lost. Lived 95 years ,wow

You forgot the film, “Unforgiven” He won an Oscar for best supporting actor. Clint Eastwood had to beg him to make the movie. He was in a lot of great films. R.I.P. Gene, you’ve earned your eternal rest.

He won an Oscar for the French Connection too
