Your views, thoughts or simply opinions. The Economy is not well (understatement). I know there are some here that will try to link the country they are residing in as problems of the USA. Sorry the USA cannot be responsible for 100% of the problems in the world nor should they be expected to help repair all problems.

Vivek Ramasmarmy doesn't know the meaning of the term 'Secularism'.

It's funny how someone gets rich and famous and then thinks he knows how to fix all the problems of the world.

DeSantis is obviously wearing high heels to compensate for him being short
and when he got caught and gets confronted about it, he lies.

I thought Republicans like alpha males. This is not alpha male behavior,
this is being an insecure little boy, who doesn't have the balls to admit it.

Why is their first instinct always to lie? Just tell the truth, it's easy.
The lying only makes it worse, ask Lauren Boebert.

The economy is sizzling. The GDP is at 4.9%. I know who I’m voting for in 2024

I already knew who you were voting for. So what. I cancel a libtard vote every year. Hmm, 2.061% Trump and 2.146% for joey. I wonder if you really have really looked into that.

The predicted recession has been coming for more than a year and all I read is that the economy is turning the corner in a very strong way. The perception though, especially concerning the participation of President Biden, is negative. Well, I for one, wold like for that perception to continue with Biden until January 20, 2029. He seems to git-it-done despite (or maybe because of) the perception.

Do you think his New York voters are just as amused and vote for a Republican again?

Congrats on your new speaker of the House.
Mike Johnson is a great MAGA pick; just as extreme and crazy as Jim Jordan,
but a bit smarter, he presents himself as more respectable and has less baggage.

Actually, he's so extreme and crazy, only the MAGA crowd,
which is a minority of around 30% at best, will like him.
Your party is alienating everyone else.
It's just your party destroying itself further.

This guy is a hardliner on abortion, cracking down on gay and trans people,
gutting social security and medicare and giving more tax-cuts to the wealthy.
That is all very unpopular with most of Americans.

It's why you didn't have that red wave that you should have had.
And it's why people will reluctantly, but massively, vote for Biden AGAIN.

Getting a new GOP House speaker is not as easy as the gaggle of idiots thought, right?
Let's see if Jim Jordan breaks Kevin McCarthy's record of 15 voting rounds.
Is he going to have to promise the same exit clause, as McCarthy?

Cenk Uygur is running for president, against Joe Biden.

Cenk Responds To Viewer Questions About His Presidential Run
only registered users can see external links

Before you say he's not a 'Natural-born-citizen';
Article IX, section 1 of Hamilton's draft constitution provided: "No person shall be eligible to the office of President of the United States unless he be now a Citizen of one of the States, or hereafter be born a Citizen of the United States."
'he be now a Citizen of one of the States', the 'or..' is not a requirement.

only registered users can see external links

It's possible that Cenk is running just for the legal fight, to get a clear verdict on this.
If he wins, that provides other naturalized citizens to run, if he looses that provides clear precedent, which is good too.

And of course he's bringing the fight to Trump, because Biden isn't doing that at all.

Obama proved he was born in Honolulu, Hawaï, which is the US.
That makes him a Natural-born-citizen, according the whole article.
You really believe all the stupid shit the narcissist buffoon tells you?
By phart [Ignore] 12,Oct,23 17:35 other posts
Well, there is questions about how long it took for the "proof" to come to the surface. Think about it,if you had to show proof of where you were born, you could get the paper work rather quickly couldn't you? How long did it take to get a strange looking certificate with the wrong hospital name on it that didn't apply to the building until after his birth??
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 13,Oct,23 08:47 other posts
Why did he take so long? Because Obama has the self-respect
to not let a pathetically racist attack like that bother him.
Trump was humiliating himself and if you don't understand that,
I see why you still defend the racist shit for brains.

FetterBum sure looked shocking in his suit. What a difference in his appearance. I really wish him well with his endeavors if he can stay within the norm of society.
By phart [Ignore] 30,Sep,23 10:17 other posts
Yes, he is no longer a distraction. Dressed properly.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 01,Oct,23 05:29 other posts
That big black suit looked ridiculous on him.
It remains the law to be formally dressed, so he should.
But, he wore a much better suit for his Senate Swearing-In.

The distraction he created was useful, in my opinion.
The whole country knows him now. And he got all the Republicans
and right-wing media to show that they are elitists pricks, who only
care about appearance and not about substance.

It would have been just a distraction, if he had continued.
People need to hear his words, not just see his clothes.
By dgraff [Ignore] 01,Oct,23 06:42 other posts
You could dress him as bozo the clown 🤡 for all i care and he’s still going to be nothing but a street thug a gang member with medical problems created by all the drugs he uses or used he certainly doesn’t belong in a position of power
But in all honesty I think he would look cute in a pink chiffon evening gown with size 12 pumps on his feet
By phart [Ignore] 01,Oct,23 08:15 other posts
OK, at least your hatred for normal people is clothes independent.
That's something I guess.

Him wearing a cute pink chiffon evening gown with size 12 pumps, to the Senate,
wouldn't be half as disrespectful as the daily job most Republicans are doing.

I agree, would be fun.
By phart [Ignore] 01,Oct,23 11:01 other posts
You seem to think it is ok to disrespect the job? Why?
People have dressed properly for their jobs for decades without problems. And in this case, it shows respect for the voters that put him in there.
There is some substance to fetterman but he has brain damage now ,he should not be in a high power position. BUT if he is going to occupy the seat, he should dress for the job. And besides, people worth ALOT more money than any of us, wear suits everyday as status symbols and because again,it shows respect to the people that put them where they are.
So if billionaires can wear suits, that tells me suits can be made to be comfortable.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 02,Oct,23 05:09 other posts
The idea that any clothes can be more disrespectful to the job of a representative, than what almost every Republican and way to much Democrats are already doing, tells me that you have completely bought in to appearance over substance.
They are flipping you off, every single day, by only caring about themselves
and their donors (which is the same as caring about themselves).
Not even them all wearing a black leather thongs and a 12 inch strapons to work shows anything close to the disrespect they have for the job.

"people worth ALOT more money than any of us, wear suits everyday as status symbols and because again,it shows respect to the people that put them where they are." No! It doesn't! It makes people like YOU respect THEM!

The biggest crooks wear the nicest suits. It's time you learn that.

I love a man in a suit. Too bad I rarely see that. President Trump always wears a suit and tie and looks presentable.
By phart [Ignore] 01,Oct,23 15:58 other posts
Yea, Trump even wore his suit while he was still able to legaly drive his Rolls royce. Kinda sucks now, owning a Rolls and can't drive it? You know Presidents are not allowed to drive thanks in part to Kennedy.
only registered users can see external links
The biggest difference is that a good suit fits well.
For a really good fit, $1000 is not enough.
Especially a guy like Fetterman would need a tailor to get a good fit.
And the quality of the material. A good weave is expensive.

I don't like a dress code in politics, because it divides people.
The job of representative shouldn't just be just for rich people,
but your country makes it more and more difficult for normal people.
Hell, your side even scolds people as being 'bums' and 'whores',
if they are not the sons or daughters of wealthy people.
They need to wear their money on their sleeve, to get your respect.
They need to constantly kick down to common people, to get your respect.

You think it's because they have money, they must be smart.
In 99% of cases, that's nonsense, they just won the birth lottery.
It doesn't make a difference to you; having money earns your respect.

Your desire for an ARISTOCRACY is so against your CONSTITUTION.
By phart [Ignore] 02,Oct,23 10:35 other posts
fetterman in his hoodies looks like a gangster-bum. who wants a bum representing them?
At least in a suit he LOOKS respectable.
He is not a distraction.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 02,Oct,23 12:29 other posts
'looks like' is not the same as 'is'.
He showed himself to care about people.
That is why people wanted him to represent them.
Dr. Oz LOOKED respectable, but is a snake-oil salesman
who people didn't trust.

Yeah, we know you love distractions Ananas2xLekker. That pretty much sums up your beliefs. Remember you love taking advantage of capitalism.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 12,Oct,23 06:35 other posts
What sums up my beliefs? Distractions? That's 100% projection again.
Republicans do nothing but distraction. They don't like to govern.
They just fail and fail and fail and blame the Democrats for everything.

I live under a capitalist system, there is nothing I can do to escape it.
As a humanist, I value the right to a good life for everyone, including me.
So I damn well participate in the only system that is available to me.

I'm not making cigarettes or selling unhealthy food, I'm participating in providing medicine to people who need it. That sector, we call 'Big Pharma', is unfortunately abusing their private ownership a lot, to enrich it's owners and upper management,
at the detriment of patients, a reality that I wholeheartedly support to change. Meanwhile, people still require pharmaceutical products. It's up to your voting to lower the prices of those pharmaceutical products. I'm already voting for that.

Meanwhile I also participate to make society more fair, by supporting
the Socialist Party in the constant democratic battle for socialist values.

So have you called your government to refuse their socialist services from the publicly owned infrastructure, the police, the fire department, the military and the post office?
You love taking advantage of socialism, don't you?
