Ok.I couldn't parse the clause "they are either ugly or hurt not beautiful or hot..." because even after removing the word "hurt" it read "they are either ugly or not beautiful or hot..." and it still didn't make sense.

You're right. Beauty is one thing. Sex appeal is another. They are loosely related but not the same. There are beautiful women that I wouldn't fuck and uglier women that I'd definitely fuck. In somewhat similar vein, love and sex aren't perfectly correlated.
