Florida has every type of insect, reptile, and, generally, yuck animal in existence. Frogs inside the house happens mostly during rainy season. Getting "serenaded" by a frog at night is a living nightmare

We have this too, and alligators in the porch and under cars,snakes under the hood, black widow and brown recluse spiders in the house, other spiders, flying cockroaches, iguanas in the yard, and lost tourists in the streets. The mosquitos have their own air controlers, and I had to chase a mama black bear and 2 cubs out of my back yard (common occurance every year last spring.

Sounds exciting. We only have crocodiles in the northern part of Australia, so none around where we live. But we do have eastern brown snakes, which are aggressive & one of the most poisonous in the world. We have white tail spiders that can rot your flesh every year for the rest of your life, black widow spiders, funnel web spiders, red back spiders, goanna's. No bears though, so that's good

Nothing much new on this side of the world, its hump day here, my favourite café is shut wednesdays, so we went and fed the sparrow-gulls from the place next door.. l made aussieman a damper loaf a few weeks ago, and he said it was his new favourite dinner, so lm making it again tonight, tuna and spinach, plenty of cheese, its definitely a 'sometime' food, very indulgent for a dinner, but so damn yummy.. l'll make a big pot of soup tomorrow, my special recipe, and he loves that too.. l need some recipes for rice, l have heaps of it and need to use it up ... *lix*
