Haha! Record Store Day falls on a Saturday? This reminds me of a hundred years ago.....Saturday was always the day for housework and other chores. My older si$ter was big into records so on Saturday, when everything was done, she would put on records and we danced around the house. We were serious about our dancing because one day, we wanted to be on Bandstand! What a great day and an even better memory! Thank you!

Printers would get fines for errors in the work they produced,as printing blocks go back to front to enable the letters to be the correct way...P's& Q's or 'p & q' are easily mixed up and often cost printers in the fines they had to pay....so 'mind your p's & q's' was also used that way....
Everything is automated in the world today, but back in the day when things were done manually, it would have been important to be mindful of P's and Q's.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles is revoking the personalized license plate issued to a Houston man, because it has now been deemed offensive.
“I had it for more than three years without any problem,” Safer Hassan said.
Hassan recently received an official letter from the state that said his Texas plate, “370H55V,” would be canceled within 30 days.
“People have no idea what that plate means. My closest friends don’t even know,” Hassan said.
It is when the license plate is turned upside down that a curse word becomes more evident.
The Texas DMV letter alludes to a similar plate that was recently reviewed and rejected.
“They may have just searched similar type plates,” Hassan theorized.
Hassan said he planned to appeal the state’s decision.?

The person had that plate number for 3 years and now "the man" decides to cancel the plate because it is offensive!? This kinda of makes me wonder who scrutinizes the letter/number sequence to see if the combination could be deemed offensive. With that said, my guess is that the job is a state job, something that residents tax dollars go to, so just exactly how much that person is paid?

Strange, some members do post copyright material and they are like Teflon, nothing happens and their profile never makes it to the evaluation panel at all.
I liked your suggestion about an automated message being sent to the reported member which would indicate what they were cited for as well as the reporting member. That seems only fair since nothing else seems to be with regard to the voting panel members.
I have found that if you send a screenshot of the abuse page to the reported member with why they are reported....9 times out of 10 they remove the pictures....and don't commit picture violations anymore...
If the message comes from admin himself people listen....if a message from a panel member left on a page is seen, is it is disregarded as a busybody with nothing else better to do....
A very new account knows what they are doing from the start. Either followed the site rules or leave!
The evaluation panel is a joke! One group wants to delete and the other wants to give a fake the chance to hide the fakes pics!!

Read that thread again....if you want your friend to be allowed back,you are not doing him any favours by what you are doing....plus he is still here anyway.....everyone can see that...so you think about that for moment....you need to convince admin not the members....
I'm not well versed on this subject, that I admit, but it sounds like education and respectful warnings are a step in the right direction to helping people figure things out. If they continue to break the rules, then they are responsible and need to accept the actions of the evaluation panel.
Not preaching .... just musing.
I would just add that the majority of panel members just sort it out in pm....with a positive message to explain why and what they were reported for...just seems a better approach to me....
That in itself seems too difficult for some to do....and creates problems that are really not needed.

There comes to mind a SYC profile of a Latin virgin who is deleted every time she creates a profile. Why? Because she has been labeled as a 'fake'. Who deemed that she was a fake? I have never been able to find her pictures elsewhere on the Internet so that shouldn't be an issue. I have reported her myself and I really don't know why other than she was labeled as a "known fake". Shame on me for being a follower rather than thinking on my own. So again, I ask, what is a fake? Is it a man pretending to be a "woman"? Is it a woman pretending to be a "man"? Is it a member who uses Photoshop to enhance their pictures? Or is it someone who has an extra profile or two that found some cracks in a system and uses it to their advantage?

The statement I initially made was that it is sad that the evaluation panel deletes members so quickly, without the reported member even knowing 'why'. I mentioned that someone who has been tagged as a 'known fake' was also swiftly deleted. There was a thank you and some personal jabs and now you would like to 'make it known that dick21 is guilty of this.' Guilty of what?
I was chatting with a couple of lady friends at work and the conversation steered towards sl.eeping attire and boy, was surprised about what they sl.eep in. One mentioned that she ALWAYS sl.eeps in a bra and panties. I thought that was just an oddity so I called one of my other friends.
