As a teenager it was a must, I don’t think I or my best friend at the time, partner now could of gone through the torment, but I blended in pretty well and it was never really brought up, it was pretty much the same through out college too, it was when we both went to uni and rented a flat just us together it think it started raising some eyebrows to those that both knew us, it was obvious by that point then we both come out together to a close friend of ours and our families and it was revived ok on the whole, I think it does just depend on who you have around you. There’s a lot of people that don’t talk to us from our days etc from school but then we’ve gone on to make new friends as a couple from different hook ups and holidays etc. We was lucky we had one another through it.

I always use to hide my sexuality from myself. I kept finding myself ashamed for being into men because for all my life before that I would've never even considered it a possibility. My wife knows that I'm Bi and that I cross dress. I'm sure my parents suspected that I was.

Once upon a time, I was afraid that revealing my homosexuality would lose me family and friends. Turns out that the vast majority of them suspected it anyway. My family were very accepting as were my friends. These days I don't care what anyone thinks.
