PATSY CLINE, 60 YEARS

Today, Sunday, 5th March 2023, is exactly (and unbelievably) 60 YEARS since the world lost the great Patsy Cline in a terrible plane crash when she was only 30 years old. What a fantastic singer she was, so strident and brassy, and quite a woman too, by all accounts. A very tragic loss to the entertainment world. Please spare a moment or two to remember her today. Thank you, luv RM xxxxx

It’s a good one for sure.

Actually, she had a lot of great songs, her voice was unique, as was she.

Have you heard her version of "Some Day You'll Want Me To Want You"? She puts so much emotion into that song, the way her voice rises to a crescendo and back again, always brings me out in goose bumps and want to cry knowing how sadly she died, every time I listen to it. Bless her.

Tragic loss. And I remember the day. We were all stunned at the news of her passing.
