Why is it that alot of Americans and folks abroad think that it is perfectly ok for il1egal immigrants to come across our borders.UNless they are from Cuba? Cuba is 80 miles roughly off our Florida coast. Folks try every method under the sun to get here.Make boats from cars-trucks,bathtubs,barrels.whatever floats to get them here.Because they want to live the American dream. But no,the coast guard sinks their little boats and hauls them back home.Everyone thinks that is so good. But yet we keep a prison down there for all the dregs of the earth to be kept in.
It is a repressive government, economy is in the toilet. But yet, don't let a single 1 of them come here.We have to make room for folks from country's that h@tes us and want to bring in crime, dope and who knows what else.If you ask the Cuban's,they want to work and have a American made car and be citizens. The 1's from everywhere else just want to find a government office to sign up for freebies..

A lot of people have their beliefs. Theres people that think there shouldnt be borders. That would be a disaster. the USA takes in a lot of immigrants and gives them a path to citizenship which doesnt happen in most countries not like it does in the USA.
I am a US citizen but wasnt born in the USA. I came here legally because some of my family is American. There was a long process from health checks to background checks etc. It takes time but its the legal way and it was planned by the govt for it to happen that way.
A lot of people in the world want to come to USA to live the American dream and I feel for them because most of those people live in places where they have no opportunity to work and give their little ones (h1ldr3n) a decent life but it is reality.

I am sure that theres criminal illegals just like theres criminals who came here legally and theres a lot of good people who are here illegaly. What I am trying to say is that it is a complicated issue, one that may never be fully resolved but I am all for borders and coming here the proper way.
I love the USA and consider my self an American, ive lived here most of my life and want the best for our country and people. After all the USA was built by immigrants but making sure the right people get to live the American life is important and there is a reason why there are laws about it. Unfortunately without borders you don't want to think about what this country would become.

God bless the USA

Welfare state is not compatible with open borders.
By #555742 02,Aug,18 22:19
Yeah. Exactly. All people who want open borders don’t really understand how that effects the well-being of the country and how it would impact the quality of life and employment.

Exactly... nor is bringing in unskilled and uneducated labour. What happens in 5- 10 years when these low level jobs go away? You are going to end up with a massive welfare roll and crime will be out of control. Just like it is in their own countries.

I am born and raised in Belgium, we have immigrants from about every country in the world! Some want to work hard to have a better future some want to take advantage. Some Belgians take advantage of all the things on offer too and some work hard!

Cuba, America, Belgium,England ...

Some people come to work hard others come to profit
Some work hard in the country they were born in, some take advantage of the country they were born inç

Some people work very hard, some just profit from othersç
It's a global problem

Some of my collegues work hard, some do as little as possible and profit from what the hard working collegues do.

There are hard working and lazy profiting people in any country

Killing has never been my goal or desire to stop immigration.A simple fence. And stop putting out the "bird feeders" that draw them.

It is typical of democrats, liberals and tree huggers to think that folks that want immigration control are violent killers. That is far from true. Just lies spread from that camp.

I'm not a democrat, I'm not liberal, I
Not a tree hugger either. I'm very conservative actually. But I think that people who speak the way you do, even though you yourself have no intention of killing immigrants, as you say, put ideas to those who are ready to kill using the few weapons that already exist there. Incidentally, the wife that Trump bought was an **** immigrant.

Melania came into US in 90es legally. She might have had received some payments for modeling before obtaining workers permit, but it's not the same as being il1egal migrant. And even that may be legal depending on how it was formalized. For example, you don't need a work permit to make a speech and get paid for it. I'm not really a specialist in this field, just saying there is not enough evidence to say she worked illegally in US. She sponsored her own green card in 2001 as a model of extraordinary abilities. She married Trump in 2005. So even if at some moment she was working illegally, it was many years before and Trump had nothing to do with this.

OK. You may be right. She is an immigrant though.

I seriously doubt Trump had to "buy" a woman. Being a billionaire he probably has staff to keep the gold diggers pushed away.

Which woman would want to marry him if not for his money?
By admin [Ignore] 23,Jul,18 20:07 other posts
I'm no woman, but I met several millionaires in my life and all of them were pretty cool to hang out with. I'm sure there are women who would value that and not only their money.
By leopoldij [Ignore] 23,Jul,18 20:42 other posts
Sure. I wasn't talking about an arbitrary millionaire, but about Trump. All women I know of find his looks disgusting.
By phart [Ignore] 31,Jul,18 09:14 other posts
All though I have not met 1 yet, some women will take a leap of faith and learn more about the man and learn his ways and will love him for that. My case I aint got much money.getting old, short dick and grey hair receding and a belly. So IF I am going to get a woman,I better win the lottery big TIME!

@ phart. That's not exactly true about Cubans. Maybe what you read and see on TV is portraying that. We live in Ft. Lauderdale but I work in Hialeah. To familiarize you with Hialeah, it is one of the biggest by size cities in South Florida. The 6th largest city in Florida with almost 300,000 people. 62% of them being Cuban. And 55,000 of them being undocumented. 70% of all Cubans living in the US call Florida home. Over the past 50 years the Cuban born population has fled to that city. It is one of the largest unemployed rated cities down here. The average US unemployment rate is 3.8% it is 5.2% in Hialeah. Over populated by thousands. Most have no job, collect government assistance, know no English, and have no desire to learn anything. The communist Cuban flag is flown freely at houses, businesses, and cars. That may sound harsh, but it's the way it is. I can't walk into a restaurant, shop, grocery store, or any where else in that city and correspond with any one. I have been told several times if I was aware of where I was and that I should learn Spanish. There really are no building codes in Hialeah. The abundance of homemade shacks built behind every house has caused the city of Miami to look away or tear half the city down. You can find up to 15 people living on one lot. We call Hialeah, North Cuba. It really is it's own world. And it's literally 25 minutes from where we live. Remember when the Marial Boat Lifts and the Peter Pan Flights occurred. Castro emptied out his prisons and crazy hospitals and those were the first to be delivered to South Florida. Castro was no dummy. There are good and bad from all countries, including the US. Some come to seek that dream life and work hard. But most come to South Florida to ride the system, and for us down here that's mostly Cuban born people. And you can't blame them from running from that horrible island, I would.

Well,I had spoke to a Cuban several years back and had gathered alot of what i said from sitting and talking with him.Hard worker and was doing well taking care of his family. Sad that he is not the norm.
I occasionally see short paragraphs and a photo or 2 of the coast guard sinking a home-built boat and making it seem like they were really doing something great by finishing breaking those people down.
The mexicans and folks from further down only bring their shirt and their backside. They don't even bring tools or anything. That is 1 thing I couldn't help but notice as being different from the cubans and mexicans.

The person you talked with is probably from the old generation. Young Cubans never knew what is it to work hard in a free market society. I doubt they go into USA for work opportunities. I bet most of them just see it as some wonderland where they can live much better than in Cuba without giving much thought to how that better life is achieved. Some may still be good workers, but they are not the majority.

I lived in socialism I know how it corrupts people. After 2nd generation quality of workforce deteriorates drastically. You get people who know how to cheat the system - how to pretend to be hard working, how to lick superior's asses, how to bribe government officials, how to live with minimum expenses, how to get free stuff, how to steal communal property, etc. But not much about honest work, because it does not pay out comparing to other methods.
By #460385 23,Jul,18 16:12
You got that right. Our government has made it possible for some to sit at home, getting free cell phones, WIC checks, food stamps, EBT cards, discounts on cable, internet, and water bills, discounted health care, etc..... That they make more money riding the system then they could ever make working a minimum wage job.

"Dry feet" policy was accepted because if you send Cubans back to Cuba they are very likely to be thrown in prison or even killed. Not because they are different from people of other nationalities. Which they are not by the way.
