Masturbating with friend(s) is a normal part of growing up and is something virtually all boys do. And it's really unfortunate that this practice doesn't more often extend into adulthood.

First, concerning masturbation, it is not in any sick, perverted or harmful. Au contraire, it is a normal, natural and wholesome activity and it should be part of every man's regular sexual repertoire, even men who have regular partnered sex. It gives a man confidence and self esteem for him to know that he can take the matter of his sexual satisfaction literally into his own hands and be sexually self sufficient.

Coming back to the subject of grown men masturbating together, it doesn't happen more often, I think, for two reasons.

One is that many adults view it as a juvenile activity that grown men just do not do. Utter nonsense. See the second paragraph of this note above.

And, of course, group masturbation has homosexual overtones, something many heterosexual man want to avoid. Because guys have a penis of their own and, one must assume, have masturbated at least once or twice, they know exactly what the other guy is feeling when he wanks.
