It depends on what one classes as 'best'...

There is no doubt that Studland is in a nice place and is probably the warmest nude beach, which one would think should be some kind of priority,...and, it IS almost certainly the most well known. However, Studland has had it's problems of late, mainly with the unwanted attention of single males.

Some friends told me that their visit to Studland was marred by the strange phenomena that the locations of nude couples or women could be easily seen from a distance by the groups of mens heads in the surrounding dunes.

When I was in nearby Swanage a few years back I met a local woman who mentioned being with her sister on Studland as they walked their dogs,..it was a winter day and they were togged up in parkas and "snow was rolling along the beach". They encountered a man wearing thick jumper and thick socks with trainers but with his genital region naked and obviously displayed. She said they got "a lot of stupid pervs like that here"

I think the harsh truth is that people in the UK are so intrinsically screwed up about sex and nakedness that ANY nude beach is going to be a very unnatural and difficult place........
