AVAST blocking this site

Two days ago, whenever I tried to log onto this site, it's been blocked by Avast Security. I don't even use Avast as a security system, but it's making it near impossible for me to get here. I've tried without success to uninstall Avast Security Browser, which I assume is at the source of the issue. I'm close to giving up on this site unless someone's got a suggestion.

I figured out how to solve this. I use Firefox as my browser, and there are browser extensions that customize it to your preferences. To change things, you call up the menu, select extensions, and then you have the ability to disable any extensions you don't want. I have no idea why this suddenly became a problem for me after it all worked fine for so long, but I'm really grateful that it's all back to normal and I can visit this site again easily.

I've spent many hours trying to solve this. Any of the solutions online include adding this site to an exclusions list.....However, I don't use Avast on my computer at all, and have tried using the Avast Uninstall tool, which won't run on my computer. I have made an appeal to a computer support forum asking for advice in removing Avast, which I now regard as MALWARE. If they can't find a solution to this, you may end up losing me as a regular visitor on this site. Too bad, because I've used it for many years, but this seems to be a problem I can't overcome.

I know nothing about Avast but on a quick search of it appears to be a anti virus software/app, so must be on your system somewhere.

This issue though did come up with users of AVG including myself not so long ago, its sensitive to a few safe sites including this one, adding the sites address to the exclusion list fixed it, fondly enough though was only a drama on my PC, not my Android device that uses AVG as well.

This Advast may be a imbedded thing in which ever device its in, so maybe finding it to remove it may be difficult, if you cant get rid of it try finding its exclusion list to add the site to it would be my advise

Thank you, and you're correct, I would not have seen it if the post was made by your other accounts. Perhaps this isn't the platform in which to bring this to the forefront, however, perhaps you might give some thought and consideration to why and if it's really necessary to have your other accounts blacklist me?

I don't know. There is a site scanner only registered users can see external links and if I submit this site there it shows 0 problems. Why avast is blocking this site - is a mystery for me. May be there is some safe option that blocks adult sites automatically.

Actually I think you might be right with that, I did have a couple of odd things that AVG wasn't happy with like my bank site, but most of the trouble I have with AVG is other porn sites as well, not that I look at many of those 🤣

I don't add any of them to my exclusion lists encase something dodgy is going on, I can still get into PornHub without an issue anyway 🤭

So this issue with Avast may well be the same thing, sensitive to porn sties 👍
