The problem here in America is that there are way too many religious fanatics that think gay people should be put in the same category as murders and rapists. And what is really sad it that the Evangelical's attitudes towards gays border on violations of human rights....just listen to the Republican candidates in this years presidential elections. God help the gay community if these zealots ever regain power.

I as a rule respect everybody, whatever their sexual orientation. If I can't say someting good about a person, I rather say nothing. Me being straight, have a few very good gay friends. Treating people with respect, that is what it's all about Just my opinion
