I came to grips with it after getting married and further into our relationship. Most kids are circumcised as my entire family and step family are. I was born too young and had to go back for my appointment but at that time my parents decided to get a divorce instead. Later when my mom re-married she tried to get the doctor to do it then but I found out he wouldn't do it unless I showed signs of issues and explained why he kept me after and took additional time with me.
