As MoeJoe said a quick run over with the razor in the shower or bath keeps any maintenance to a minimum. Most of the time I entrust the shaving to my wife and visa versa we can generally reach areas that can only be reached if you were a contortionist or giraffe.

Shaving smooth is not high maintenance...1 minute every morning in the shower keeps it smooth...to me trying to maintain an even trim would certainly take a lot longer.
