In most cases, I have to agree. I'm not saying this to rationalize, but my husband and I need to divorce, but due to economic and health issues, it hasn't been possible yet. We live solely as roommates and spend little time together. My boyfriend is in a similar situation. We found each other and fell in love. We do plan to marry when our divorces are final. I imagine there's more of these situations in bad economic times.
I just finished a good book, "When Good People Have Affairs" (forget subtitle). A lot of people have affairs for a lot of different reasons, and most agonize over the choices. Most aren't players who just want to score or do it for the thrill or whatnot.
Never thought I'd be in this situation, but, alas, here I am.
