I firmly oppose and condemn Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, the IRGC, and radical Islam. However, decades of short-sighted American military intervention and destruction have proven that you cannot shoot an ideology out of existence; they have only served as a breeding ground that feeds and strengthens these extremist movements.
Using this woman’s sign as a token to justify the obliteration of Gaza or the displacement of its people is a bad-faith distortion of her message. She is protesting for peace and human liberation, not condoning the murder of civilians by foreign bombs. To pretend her stance validates the total destruction of these populations completely reverses her intent and fuels the exact cycle of violence she is standing against.
