I understand the plight of the people of Gaza. I, also, wish the ki!!ing to stop, but, I don't see the USA, my country, as an entity that is openly and flagrantly, with impunity, supporting AND FINANCING the genocide in Gaza. Israel is our ally and friend. They have supported us in our fight against terrorism from Islamic groups. Groups that have sworn to destroy our way of life. The people of Gaza have openly supported and hidden one such group. This group carried out a heinous crime against the people of Israel over a year ago. The response by the Israelies has been harsh and, in my opinion, too long lasting, but, I don't see us encouraging, much less FINANCING this wholesale slaughter of noncombatants.
I find it somewhat unfair that the actions of a group of terrorists should ultimately become a black mark for a country that has tried very hard to provide humanitarian help to these people.
Yes, we provide military help to Israel, but, we provide similar help to ALL our allies. My question is this, "If the "genocide" of the Gaza people needs to stop, why hasn't Hamas released the remaining hostages and declare a total surrender? Surely Israel would stop too.

Perhaps, and I do agree with you about Netanyahu, but as long as he's in power the war will go on. He and his cadre can talk tough, but, in the end, as you say, we have the arms. My last question still stands.

IF genocide NEEDS to stop sounds like you approve of it in some cases.

THEN you ask:

I'm NOT a spokesman for Hamas, but I have an inkling how they feel. Israel will
be fortunate if they get anymore hostages back.

Where was Netanyahu when Hamas invaded Israel October 7, 2023? OBVIOUSLY, he
was NOT defending Israel's border! That's the day when he had his chance to inflict
major damage to Hamas. What he's doing now is a war crime by inflicting another
Holocaust on the Palestinian people. Does he worship Adolph Hitler like Donald Trump?
Now there's two peas in a pod. Both should be sitting in prison.
