Chat rooms can be confusing at times. It depends on the people.

I thoroughly enjoy chat rooms. But this is not the site simply because there are too few people online at any time (maybe it was more active in the past). And even in chat rooms with lots of people, much takes place either in private message or in parallel - in the room and in pm at the same time.

For many people, intimacy works best with a one-on-one experience and chat in the room is just a way of identifying potential partners.

I like one on one. Hvae had some awesome chats/PM's here on SYD. So I'll keep that going...seems to work for me.

I prefer chatting directly and not really interested in chat rooms.. I have had some real sexy chats directly. As a matter of fact, I ad 2 today alone. Just my thoughts.

Not so much that I don't like them. Just never had the urge to enter one.

Especially after all the stories about conversations getting out of hand and having a toxic effect on the atmosphere in the room.

true, but on DM you can be more forward.
