Mona broke her ankle Saturday night... She fell coming down the stairs and yep, her ankle is broken in two places..

The little munchkin is in a splint type temporary cast right now but she is going to have to go in for surgery where they will put in a small plate and some screws. Then she'll be in a real cast for a while then rehab.

Fun fun fun eh? She has been in some pain but thanks to some GOOD meds.... well you know the drill right? LOL

Thankfully I've got Jamie Lee to help take care of her AND help take care of 'business' if you know what I mean.

Hot, hotter than hot! It's been hotter than the surface of the freakin sun around here for like over a week now but that's ok, not only has it been hot, the humidity and really the dew point has been OVER the top, tropical.

Daily temps in the mid and upper 90's with dew points in the lower/mid 70s.. Head indexes in the 105+ range. I might as well move back to Florida!

I got woken up this morning by a HUGE thunderstorm.. Well to be more precise, a HUGE clap of thunder... It was so LOUD it rattled the house and damn near knocked me out of bed...

It woke up the dog, Jamie Lee rustled up a bit also but Mona? Usually she's the FIRST to wake up when ever there's a thunderstorm around but NOT this morning...

Got a 'line' on a new guitar the other day... I'm HOPING it's everything it seems to be...

It's a 1967 Gibson ES-335 TD Sunburst.. It looks to be in perfection condition, one owner with it's original case. It's local and I'm going over tomorrow to take a look at it.. The guy is asking a bit of $$$ for it but he's not out of the ballpark... If it's everything I think it is, I'll make him a good offer and see what he says..

I've ALWAYS wanted a 335.... Like I don't already have enough guitars LOL I'm excited though, it IS my dream guitar...
