You can still pull back hard on the shaft skin. That's what I do and the feeling is just the same as it was before I was circumcised. In many ways it's better because my circumcision scar is much stronger than the thin bit of skin I used to have where my inner foreskin met my outer foreskin and I can pull it back really hard without tearing it.
