I think the whole thing of high heels is a pseudo sexual one because the intention is to present the foot 'arched' and to force the leg muscles/stance into a supposed sexual posture.

I think you nailed it.

As I'm sure you know, the high heels thing dates back to the earlier years of pin-up "cheescake" erotica. I think the main reason they're still included so often is because 95% of the people making porn these days aren't smart enough to even bother questioning their original purpose. They're just simple-minded morons imitating what has gone before, because all they're interested in is $$$, and lots of it.

Sadly, the subtlties that make good erotica so erotic have been all but lost on the current generation. As I've stated before, what passes for erotica today is mostly just cheap, non-contextual sensationalism.

Sadder still, is the fact that so many people today seem to be getting their sexual "edumacation" and attitudes from internet porn, rather than from a more reality-based source - such as, oh, I dunno, REAL HEART-FELT HUMAN INTERACTIONS?!
