I wanted to bring everyone?s attention to the ?Kinsey Scale?. Have a quick look at this and decide where you fall. For those of you who have never heard of it, it?s an imaginary scale which determines one?s sexuality:-

Kinsey 0 - Exclusively heterosexual
Kinsey 1 - Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
Kinsey 2 - Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
Kinsey 3 - Equally heterosexual and homosexual
Kinsey 4 - Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
Kinsey 5 - Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual
Kinsey 6 - Exclusively homosexual
Kinsey X - Asexual, Non-Sexual

There are a few hundred other choices if you check with the shrink hand book now days.

One main one is hetroflexible (men and omen) Mostly heterosexual but are willing to do some same sex things for the fun of it. That list is more for the romantic side of sexuallity and was developed for that reason. The other option relates to sex and for sex only and does not involve any romantic side of things at all. It is for just having fun with sex. Many of those that call themselves bi do not belong there. They only enjoy the sex part of BI and not the romantic side of it.
So when you tell someone where your fall please think aout the romantic side b4 you go and tell others what you think you are!!!

Yes. It is more complex but unfortunately too many people do not even understand the Kinsey concept. Btw I call I know use the term heteroromantic in combo with bisexual. I am not sure if there are enough distinctive words out there yet to pinpoint my sexuality using one or 2 words only

If you rank anywhere between 1 & 5 you are bi-sexual. Most people make the mistake of thinking that bi-sexual means equally attracted to both sexes but if you have a strong preference over the other you are still bi. In reality, I know I am bi-sexual but in society, because i know I will only ever have a full relationship with a woman, I identify myself as straight becuase otherwise people would just think that I'm gay. I think it's a shame that this scale is not widely recognised in society because if it were I think there would be far more people who would openly identify themselves as bi!
