I guess, like me, you consider it corrupt, when a politician makes their decisions based on personal gain, instead of what they should do as representative of their voters?
The Socialist Party I vote for, in The Netherlands, makes sure none of their representatives, from the bottom to the top, is in any way able of getting personal gain, from any of their decisions. The only gain they might have is the same as all their voters; living in the world that more represents their worldview.
My representatives don't even have the motive of a big salary, which all the other politicians have. The Socialist Party is the only party to have a 'Solidarity scheme'.
All paid representatives have to hand over every last cent they earn, to the party.
Then they get paid a moderate wage and reasonable expenses are compensated. Even our national party chair gets paid about $3500 net per month, while the salary
of member of parliament is $10930 gross per month.
This makes sure they do their job to represent their voters and not for the money.

I'm sure that several of the other 15 fake electors will want to flip now too.
In any case, I would suggest that the prosecutors and judges do not accept too many more of those fake electors flipping against Trump, to save their own skin, but to send most of them to jail for at least ten years. This 76 year old traitor, to both his country and the fascist he aligned himself with, can live out his years in freedom and whatever sliver of shame he actually feels, if he spills the beans on all the other traitors.
The only way to prevent privately owned land getting sold to China
is either have more publicly owned land or regulations.

If you want them to be 'charged with a crime for doing that', then you need
a rule, law or regulation against selling land to foreign countries.
It's not like that land now belongs to China, it's just that the profits made there will go to China. They are just 'investing' like your preferred capitalist system allows.
If you don't like that, maybe you need to rethink your ideas on capitalism.

Or is there maybe land that shouldn't be privately owned?
The majority says they will not vote for Trump, if he is convicted.
They probably don't realize that Trump has already been found liable of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll and defaming her, and he has been found guilty of fraudulently inflating the value of his properties and other assets.

We, on the LEFT, care about important facts and issues. We care about social injustices. We care about racial injustices. What does the RIGHT care about? Hunter Biden’s laptop. Give it up, Junior, the RIGHT is the new ME Generation.
First, it's not true the left is trying to prevent Americans from voting for Trump. Trump is in a shitload of trouble brought on by his own doing. The laws he's being accused of breaking have been in the books for a heck of a longer time than he's been around. If he's not on the ticket, it's because of his own doing.
Second, no one is stopping anyone for voting against Biden. Whatever the outcome of the election, that's why we vote. If you don't like Biden then you can try to vote him out regardless if Trump is running or not.
Third, Republicans and many others are not happy with Biden's economy. Fine, I believe he's doing as well as can be expected, but, like I've said before, vote him out if you can.

Republicans want to question Hunter behind closed doors,
so they can lie about it.
When they wanted to question witnesses, then they demanded to do it publicly,
because they wanted everyone to see the dirt. It didn't work out that way,
because all the witnesses crushed their nonsense. When they try to spin that,
it is clear for everyone that they are lying. So now, they don't want people to be able
to see that they are lying. That doesn't matter for you, because you'll believe them without ever fact checking anything, but people who have some intellectual honesty could easily see their blatend lying.
He's not afraid, he's just not giving them the opportunity to lie even more.
What are Republicans afraid of, for not wanting to do this publicly?
By the way, Hunter Biden is a citizen and he has no obligation to answer any questions from House Republicans. He could easily sue several of them for defamation and win.

Are you asking yourself why it takes a couple with good jobs to buy a house, while still requiring a huge mortgage they probably can never pay? That's because the right-wingers have been crushing the working class and have been giving presents to the rich, for decades.

All of those Scandinavian countries participate in capitalism,

The working class gets exploited in the US much more than in those Scandinavian countries. Those countries are doing great and the people living within those countries have a much higher standard of living than Americans.
Then why do you keep thinking that your system is necessary?

Open your eyes, Americans are working their asses off for starvation wages, without any paid vacation, sick-days, maternity leave or overpay. Many people cannot afford healthcare or retirement. That's not Biden's fault, that is Republican policy screwing the people. What is good about that economy?
Every modern economy provides a better living standard for its people than the US. Your idea of capitalism only works for the wealthy and sucks for everyone else. You rank 33th in child mortality behind Slovakia and you just beat Chile. You rank 47th in life expectancy, behind the Czech Republic.

In my country we have a right to 4 weeks paid vacation.
Employers have to pay 2 year of sick leave, for at least 70%.
Leave for organ donation, pregnancy and maternity is 100%.
Fathers get 5 days at 100%, but can get up to 5 weeks at 70%.
If I hated America, I would like how you are getting screwed.
If you loved America, you would want something better for Americans.
You did have a car or cars, a TV or more, your kids got a free education, you have a refrigerator, an AC, a heater, you get to go to dinner, you have groceries for cooking, you can travel unhindered. Things are really slowing down ,houses are not selling, cars aren't selling, grading company's are laying people off.
Food is controlled by private industry and the same with medical costs. What do you propose? Have the Feds subsidize both of those? That would be “welfare” and you know how the Repucker Congress thinks about that.
