Cancelled holiday to visit my mum, luckily though since meanwhile borders are closed and I´d likely sit around for months not being able to return. Lockdown here, work at home, bars sports cinema etc are all closed and we´re not supposed to socialise. It´s nice to have time off but gets boring when you can´t go out and have fun. Have cleaned the flat, done my tax returns, emailed everyone, sharpened all my knives, fed my spider, polished all my shoes, done the ironing practised drumming cleaned the windows etc etc etc and of course spent lots of time on this website but it´s pretty fucking boring. Could be worse though, I´m alive and healthy

Everywhere has gone bonkers.....
Supply chains will slow down to essentials soon, cuz most countries are restricting movement of people....

Find those car parts early.... you'll probably be taking payments in toilet paper soon

3/5/20--Went to hospital emergency for continuous A-fib. . Was admitted and next day had cardiovascular catheter procedure. After a week of complications, on 3/13/20, they performed CABT surgery (triple bypass) and mitral valve repair. All went well. March 18---pacemaker installed under left shoulder. Heart beating regular now.
SUPER SORE, SUPER TIRED, was released March 20, 2020 due to the hospital needing the space for possible COVID-19 victims.
I don't know how I'll entertain myself next few weeks (except walking 5 to 10 min three times daily)

I had issues a few years ago and after a chemical stress test and such they said I had afib and at the time a bad case of gas. No medicine or anything I guess since mine is only occasionally, but I do notice now that i am having to use my Flonaise for allergies that I am waking up with the bumpitybump at night. They said my second bump comes to quick? oh well I aint dead yet,but do hope you get recovered soon.

I had the echo stress test done and an MRI scan . They found I have LBBB and aortic stenosis . At the moment I am on just medication . Later on I may require an aortic valve replacement . "The LBBB" stands for left bundle branch block .

Watch your diet, excercise, and get tested often. It's your life.

By #603370 28,Mar,20 23:21
I've got a year's worth of projects queued up. That and getting out for my usual exercise.

We just got pegged for a whole month. This cutting and stacking firewood and such is making me sore. But at least I will be warm next winter.
I did notice alot of folks at Walmart buying leaf rakes and such for doing yard work.1 lady said she was putting her husband to work!
Should be plenty of clean houses and nicer yards,at least of the people that care about how things look.

I got groceries with curbside service on Friday right after work. I went home and I have not left since. I live in a small apartment by myself. I have music to play. Things to write. I did some work, too. I watched some TV and some YouTube. It's been interesting to eat only food out of my own kitchen. I have drank a lot of wine Friday and Saturday nights. Probably do the same tonight, Sunday. Then I guess...I'll go to work on Monday morning. There will be one other person in the entire building.

It's pretty much life as usual for me. Been to the mountains on my snow machine a couple of times, working on my old Chevy, doing internet research , fixing things around the house, etc. The liquor stores are open and their shelves are full. Life is good.

30,000 people died last year from the common flu. Don't remember them closing down the country because of it. Some thing else is going on. LIX says its sinister, wouldn't dought it for an minute.

You do not understand the situation. It's almost certain that hundreds of thousands of Americans will die if we do nothing. Whoever is telling you different is either lying to you or deeply misinformed.

Fed the spider?

I hear what you're saying, nothing is open other than the grocery store and the pickens are slim. I'm talking to my parents every day and have popped over twice since Sunday.

Yes done all that . Cleaning out . sorting out . sodding about . Going to the shops to gaze at the empty shelves . And spending time waiting for an item I ordered from a seller in the USA . On 09/03/2020 . It Left Manchester NH USA on 10/03/2020 . Arrived Stansted UK 11/03/2020 . Then sat in a warehouse in Castle Donington for six days . For what bugger knows . Then I get a message to say its out for delivery . Followed by another message to say Due to global health events beyond our control, your package is being held for delivery at a later date. Its a bloody stick of wood . its not like its a health risk and needed quarantining . Like a dog or a flea bitten moggy . I reckon UPS where retaining it . Waiting for the stock market to somehow recover so they could slap a bigger customs duty on it .Anyway it arrived today 20/03/2020 WOO FRIGGING PEE. A Spider as a pet nah , to many eyes and legs for me . I want something I can sit on my lap and feed it the leftovers from my plate . Or in my case feed myself from the left overs from its plate . As there's nowt to buy in the shops .
By bella! [Ignore] 20,Mar,20 23:30 other posts
Ted-E-Bare, I Google'd the type of spider that dear bigg has and from what I can see, it very well could sit on your lap and eat the leftovers from your plate OR might eat you if you pissed it off!

Crikey Moses! . What a hairy bugger . What size are the flies in the USA .? . You would need buckets loads to feed that . Or I suppose they live on birds and small creatures . If I had one would it understand commands like sit and go fetch my slippers .

I went to the farm supply yesterday to get some belts and there was a lady in the line with animal bedding and such.Had a guennie pig in her hand holding it close. I ask about it and she said she raised those and feeder rats."why rats?" "Oh I have over 60 Boa's and 4 pythons.,Kristi is about 7 feet long and she is a real sweat heart, she just wraps around my husband and watches movies with him on his telephone!"
I left there shaking me head for sure. A 7 foot snake wrapped around me watching movies? NAW aint happeneing
