Jockstraps for sports

Who still wears a jockstrap for its original purpose, ie as support and protection during sporting activities? While I enjoy going commando normally, I like my tackle nice and cosy during sports and not jiggling around.

Jock straps were mandatory in gym class in jr high. We all had to wear them

yes I always wear one for sports , especially cricket where you get a specially adapted one to wear a protector for batting or fielding close to wicket . Most of guys at school wore them for gym or sports , although some kept it on when in shower which is a shame .

I wish basketball players would go back to wearing only a jock under very short snug fitting shorts. Those long line underpants and long baggy shorts they wear today are dreadful. And some wear leggins that go all the way to their ankles. Come on guys, show more skin.
