True, I try to base almost everything on logic, even compassion, because I think compassion makes the world better. But all of it is inspired by this idea: I want the world to be a better place and I want humanity to survive. Why would I want this? Just 'numerically'? Do you want this? Is that a common frame of reference? If so, is that enough to base a discussion on?
