PHART, not renting to someone because you believe they will tear up the place is the definition of discrimination. By law, you can't deny a person before that person does the deed. The same with non paying tennants. Don't you have to wait till they don't pay?

BTW. You people must live in Mexico or something. In my area, the Sheriff will evict a non paying renter within 45 days from the time the owner gets an eviction notice to the time the renter is on the street.
If a renter trashes the place, it's an automatic 364 days in County work farm.

Remember all the home foreclosures when the real estate market burst? Did you forget all the business closures and lost jobs at the end of the Bush administration? The Obama policies reversed that.
