Haha! I have a few years on you and we had peanut butter flavored taffy called Mary Jane and a chocolate nutty chew called Squirrel. Bazooka Bubble Gum was my favorite because it was kinda scored so you could bend it in half and only chew half at a time. PLUS, there were comics and if you saved enough wrappers, you could send away for something. Bottom line, my favorite was Black Jack taffy, the pink, white and black chew that had a licorice-ish kinda flavor as well as Snaps, the white, green and orangey/tan tubular licorice chews.
