Hi guys,


Browsing through SYD, I've noticed quite a lot of guys are circumcised/cut and am genuinely quite surprised and curious as to how you ended up with it.


Did you choose to do so out of personal preference, medical reasons, religious reasons etc? What made you choose to be circumcised (if you did it voluntarily) and at what age did you have it done?


Sorry about the number of questions, I'm just genuinely interested.

I am uncut but was almost circumcised age 11 following an accident. The doctors wanted to circumcise me but my mother talked the docs out of it. I had 5 stitches. As a result my foreskin is long and loose now.
I am happy being uncut, I have had some negative comments but I feel luck to still have it. But have often wondered what it would be like to be circumcised. My father was cut and I felt like mine should have been like his growing up.

I, like you, was going to lose mine but still have it. I think in the UK they tend to see if they can fix rather than just chop. I’m surprised you have negative comments about it over here though, foreskin is a very common sight for white British guys. Kids will always take the piss at anything that’s different though. In our class of 30 there was only one who was circumcised and he had a nickname due to it. I always found it so intriguing as it was different, especially as mine wouldn’t retract due to tightness.
Shows how different doctors have a different outcome though. Having the same problem at you as late as 16 and I was told to stretch it as some of us developed later than others. He said if it didn’t stretch come back, which I didn’t as I didn’t want to go to a hospital!

I was close to losing my foreskin in my late teens due to tightness. My doctor said to try and stretch it and if that didn’t work go back and it’d be fixed for me. I had a great fear of hospitals so never went back. Funny enough, it loosen up in my mid 20’s and works fine now.
